so, the regular show was originally intended to be an adult show on adult swim, but CN had changed it to be on their actual programming since they already needed another show to fit the time, they needed to drag out their channel all the way till Adult Swim. They already had adventure time and gumball they were just missing one more show to fit in-between and they convinced the creator of Regular show that if he could censor his first few episodes they could test to see if people enjoyed it. The first few episodes were supposed to have f bombs and curse words all throughout but got slightly censored when it aired and fully censored on DVD and reruns. hints because there is no uncensored version to be found anywhere. CN got a little backlash for leaving a s bomb in the first episode though, so they kept it fully PG after that.

so back when it aired they didnt censor the episodes till like a few months later. then when they got the episodes for streaming episodes were uncensored but later censored, but the subtitles still followed the original words they said. star wars clone wars got an episode where the clones got attacjed by a worm, one of them eaten and later one clone said what the hell was that. on tv it was like that till later edited to what the heck was that BUT disney+ still have the hell saying in the episode. overall they only say crap and piss in the show. on youtube someone compiled all the swear scenes which in totla is like a minute at best so it was very miniscule.

I reacted the exact same way :/. it feels like a slap in the face for them to stop posting new regular show videos for over a month (especially during/before one of the best arcs) and then post a season 1 binge video. it just feels like a ploy to get more money, especially since they keep commenting about their patreon. it’s disappointing because I don’t watch majority of their other videos (cuz I don’t like a lot of the shows they watch) and they don’t even have a real reason as to why they aren’t posting them on youtube yet (besides money).
