There's a moment I'm genuinely not sure if they picked up on. Sadie mentioned that they stayed up all night together, and Steven said "that must've been some video game!" Sadie... clearly meant something else, and she was dangerously close to letting it slip to Steven. But instead she just said "yeah... it was."

For one they talk too much over the video, I get that there's 4 of them and I'm not hating but like I wish they'd pay a little more attention and stop jumping to conclusions so much😅. This show while a little sillier in the beginning is actually really realistic the whole way through (and only gets more so as it continues). And deals with a lot of real-world type situations so it shouldn't be written off as just another "cartoon" yk? You at the very least gotta give it a little bit more attention than you would a regular cartoon its a pretty multilayered show😓

True, the fans response is due to seeing pearls development for 5 seasons, a movie and a epilogue series like im sure by the time they get at least half way through the series. @@randömfiish it was a leftover mcguffin from the pilot, they didnt want to waste. But it doesnt really mage sense, why noone ever used timetravel before and after this, also why would they need a cave of wonders, like at all? The strawberrypyramid, sandcastle and seaspire imploded, because their powersources got either removed, or was missing in the first place. Building a giant structure whose sole purpose is to collapse, to guard a tiny timethingy... They could have just used a SAFE with a combination lock, or door like the temple, that only the gem with correct authority can open in the first place.

Not gonna lie, Steven and the Stevens was a pretty dark episode for the beginning of the series. The scene with all the Stevens dissolving into water or goo or whatever it was really freaked me out. Their screams didn't help, either.

honestly, what i like is that while later episodes are attention grabbing, on rewatches the early episodes are more interesting. Its interesting to go back, pick up on forshadowing and easter eggs, see the difference in character and their growth, see where some problems might have begun, etc. I actually really like rewatching the show

Lars was the issue in that relationship cos he can be a selfish jerk but he also struggles with showing that he cares. Sadie could pick up on the little ways that he showed he cared but was too quick to accept doing things for him and being okay what little (if anything) he gave her in return. Its a good thing for lars (and sadie) that character development exists 😅
