@SaltExarch9 ай бұрын
@@Joey-kd8lj I still think it's pretentious because not only are they trying to market it as "caviar" when they made no effort to make it anything close to that, but they're also trying to sell all the "health benefits" for a chocolate that ultimately wasn't very nice. So they're intentionally trying to hit all the "premium" marketing bull when it's really just mediocre chocolate ball candy in a fancy tin, which is HELLA pretentious.

So, all of those things... plus, as they have been BIG supporters of small shops and niche high quality items PLENTY in the past -- I don't think they want to kick anyone with a small business down (who are likely struggling hard right now, if not already closed) during these times and this economy. They've had no problem finding silly frivolous things before, AND being honest about them -- but OP and other presumptive commenters -- lets try to think critically about the situation we're ALL in, and the character of the guys at Sorted, and the confines theyre under too, before we make unkind sweeping assumptions. Personally, I'm delighted to see what fortnum and masons has, as it took me FOREVER to browse even a small section of the shop when I was there, and it felt like the Harry Potter friggin candy shop, which is delightful, so I really enjoy seeing what wacky things they have. Wonder if he'd enjoy a spiced hot chocolate.... Brings out the chocolate depth of flavor, while being super mild in hot spice burn. ❤
