As for game 1, I always see Protoss players acting skittish with their units, I know Colossi and Stalkers are very vulnerable units, but they do 0 damage when retreating(without blink) and often just get blown up anyway, Dark mostly seemed surprised by how effective they are when they aren't literally running away.

Wow maybe it's just cus sOs got a good start, but I'm really surprised and happy to see sOs is getting back into form! Before he left, he was struggling with PvZ a lot, especially in macro games (i mean, Protoss in general was struggling vs Zerg, but yeah). He seems a lot more confident and solid now! Damn that last game though, if only he got even 1 tempest out, he coulda pushed those lurkers back. I feel like sOs might have given up a little too early, it was still 63 drones vs 58 probes, and the army supply was still pretty even. I guess he lacked detection but he could have cleared the lurker at his 3rd with disruptors while keeping the army from going into his natural. Dark only had like 1.5 mining bases left, sOs had much fresher bases and a ton of minerals to remake Nexus+Gates. He was floating like 3k 1k at the end, he still had 2 Robos and coulda pumped out double Immortals, and rebuilt some gates quicker at his other bases and stabilized I think. He still had 2 Disruptors and 1 Colossus to deal with the Hydras. If he was able to clear things out eventually, he could quickly repower his pylon and get those 2 Tempests out to push back all Lurkers until Viper/Corruptor tech came, and still have all that money. It sucks but i think also sOs could have actually just killed Dark's 4th before going back home too. 3 Lurkers, 1 obs, he coulda sniped all 3 and then Dark woulda been almost not mining anymore. Also it sucks when the 1 of his Disruptor Nova's moved at the last second, he could have killed 3 more very red Lurkers. Anyway sOs put up a really close set despite being a little sloppy in places, if he can clean his play back up a little, it seems like he might be returning to GSL caliber soon! Last season he barely didn't make it through the qualifiers, losing to a Creator who if he beat Classic I think was in shape to win it all.

I think this is the only way to play Dark. Early Aggro to keep creep at bat and offset his tendency toward max eco. Then you can be on 5 base and dry him out instead of 3base vs him having the whole map

Adding my contribution here, the DTs has 2 skins whereas the zerg cocoon morphed from larvae has 3 different skins ! You also have the Ghost which have 1% chance of having a nova skin with the "Covert ops" skin

Why can't roaches tunnel under buildings? Building foundations goes down to the bedrock and floating Protoss buildings have an energy field that holds them in place and acts as an underground force field. Read a book! :D

I don't think it was too early. He had little production left, even if he cleans up the army at home well, by the time he gets across map to start getting damage in, Dark will have rebuilt his army. sOs would've needed, like, 3 straight perfect fights to not lose there. I think it was a fine tap point.

I feel he had a decent chance to stabilize. Dark had only 1.5 mining bases that were running low, sOs had 2 mining bases that were much fresher. Enough money to have added 6 gates, start double Immortal production, and still have 1500 minerals and 800 gas to spare. Enough to remake a Robo Bay and Stargates/Fleet Beacon (if he let Dark kill the 2 Stargates, he woulda gotten a lot of money back from the unfinished Tempests). Dark didn't have Viper tech or Corruptor tech yet to deal with Tempests. He should have started those gates and immortal production right when the lurkers came into his main and he woulda been fine IMO.

Because Protoss have the worst detection by far and it’s incredibly easy to lose your observers with a ground based army, since you already have to micro the warp prism and ground units and not to mention no gateway units stack up to mid/late game Zerg and just get shredded
