Yeah man, puberty had him at that really weird phase where he's halfway into his new adult voice but parts of his old childhood voice are hanging on for dear life. I remember when I thought I lost parts of my range forever but I was able to get some of it back once my voice settled at its "final" adult tone; an even better example is the fact Jase STILL sings this song in its original key.

Lol... nah. The lead singer had to adjust his performance, as his voice was deeper from going through puberty, and handnt gotten comfortable with his new voice yet. You can hear him changing various melodies to lower intervals to avoid high notes. Smarter than cracking and having your voice squeaking on stage.
