Tati is Brilliant, he cleans and growls are second to none. Lyrically, she is one of the most interesting writers in a long long time. He background in everything (Reggae, jazz, pop) bring so much to their music. Vlad is also a beast on drums. This was one of the first things they did after Vlad joined.

Ahahaha, loved your reaction, it was hilarious, in a great way. When you said "this women is like a mixed bag of everything" I couldn't stop laughing 😆😆 On a serious note, Jinjer is the name of the band, they are Tatiana (vocals), Eugene (bass), Roman (guitar), and Vlad (drums) They are, in my opinion, one of the best metal bands around right now, if not the best. They are from Eastern Ukraine, so Russian is their native language. Tati is not unique when it comes to "growls" they're several females who can do it, but she is the best in my opinion, and you're right when you said that her growl sounds like a man. Most female "growlers" sound well, like a female. Tati has said in a interview that when she was learning how to "growl" she wanted to sound like a man to "shock" people. Jinjer as a band are just phenomenal, Tati gets the most attention because of her incredible vocals, but make no mistake, Eugene, Roman, and Vlad, are equally incredible at what they do. I'm gonna suggest another possible Jinjer reaction if you choose to do another one, and that song is Perennial live at Wacken open Air 2019, you'll get to see this amazing band perform live in a concert setting, and you will be absolutely blown away. Peace and as always, stay Metal my friend. 😊🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

@@grenvthompson, Tati, Eugene, and Roman are from Eastern Ukraine, so the region that they're from is primarily Russian speaking, but you're right, they also speak Ukrainian. Vlad is the only one who isn't from Eastern Ukraine, but he also speaks both languages. 😊🤘🎶

Tatiana's vocal talent is undeniable.... but it's the composition that drew me in, initially *despite* the extreme vocals. They play with proggy timings, advanced syncopation, mix in all sorts of genre influences (I'll not spoil it for you by telling you in which song they make bossa nova sound über-cool!). Integrity is a massive factor in music for me tho, & I 100% *believe* Tatiana when she's up there doing her thing. All 4 of them are top-tier musicians imho. They are the first, & so far the only, band with extreme vocals whose music I've paid actual money for. I'm in my forties, yet I find myself teenage-level excited for the "Wallflowers" album release on 27th August. Vlad the drummer is a classically-trained pianist to trade, & he has composed ~80% of the music for the new album (don't be expecting much of the standard intro-verse-chorus-verse-bridge-chorus-outro formula!).... & I am *SO* here for it!! :)

Jinjer Pisces reactions never get old. I have probably seen at least a hundred in the last year or two. Great reaction sir! Jinjer is metal, but they mix genres in almost all of their songs. Perennial live at Wacken is the logical next step if you want to hear more from this amazing band. I would also recommend the one take vocal performance of "Jugement (&Punishment)". I have been a metal head for over 30 years (I am 50 years old), but Jinjer is my favorite metal band, and is one of the few metal bands of the last from the last decade that I can say I really enjoy. If you like music that will not leave you bored then I highly recommend that you jump down the Jinjer rabbit hole. For the record this is one of my least favorite songs by them, but they have no bad songs in my opinion.

Soul, regarding her "Satanic" voice: If you were a selfless fish (Pisces) who wanted to see the world but was a bit skittish, and then got into the nets and was hooked by handsome butchers who proceed to rip away your scales and entrails (emeralds)... you'd growl too! So you see, sometimes the lyrics call for extreme vocals in a song. Tatiana (who's not singing as someone possessed, so you can toss the garlic back into the spaghetti sauce) wrote an incredible story and sang about it the way it deserved to be sung... as with most of her songs. Some vocalist just keep singing in their nice and charming voice even when the lyrics call out desperation. Not so with Tati. Her extreme expression - a rare ability - adds so much more to a song... especially if you follow the music with the lyrics and how the beautiful cacophony tells the story.

The astrological sign "Pisces" is many times depicted with two fish swimming in opposite direction. This is to signify the duality of the sign. Which lends itself very well to this song, because it's very much two opposites meeting. The nice slow music with clean lyrics vs fast hard music and growling, or as you said angel and demon....

She's great at growling. Dhe doesn't growl with her vocal chords, she's using the false vocal folds or vibrations of the fleshy parts above the larynx, thus she's not ruining her voice in any way. It's a technique that most people use when they growl to get that particular sound as well as avoid hurting her vocal cords. Her growls in this and other recordings have been processed and layered (down-pitched) to sound very low and deep and you can hear certain parts where there's a mix of her somewhat brighter and higher pitched natural growl mixed with the down-pitched growl. It's a purely artistic choice and they don't keep it a secret, meaning that it's not meant to impress listeners by faking it. You can hear her true unprocessed growl in this recording session video from ~2:25 and forward which is what her growl actually sound like without any layering, processing or down-pitching. Still very aggressive and impressive. Jinjer, Micro EP studio report: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i2eYZnyvqbCDpM0 (Tatiana is featured from ~2:25 and forward). Arch Enemy is another band with female vocalists that growls with the best of them. Their first female growler, Angela Gossow, joined in 2000 and left in 2014 to become the bands business manager to focus on taking care of her family. She was replaced with Canadian vocalist Alissa White-Gluz, also growling. The band use processing and effects on their growls just like Jinjer and it's not just female growlers that use sound tech to improve the growl sound, the same goes for many male vocalists, again for artistic purposes.

Loved your reaction, everybody who sees this for the first time is shocked at Tatiana's vocal ability, they're a great band, really talented. A bit of background information for you on this band, they're from the Ukraine and are a Progressive Metal band, consisting of: Tatiana on Vocals , Roman on Guitar , Eugene is the Bassist, Vlad is the Drummer. This video was done a few years back by way of an introduction for their new drummer Vlad, after their previous drummer suffered a spine injury and had to quit playing with the band. Tracks to check out by them; 'Perennial' live at Wacken open air festival from 2019, 'Teacher Teacher' the official video, 'Judgement (and Punishment)' both the official video (for the story, which is great) and Tatiana's one-take vocal version (for her performance, which is also great), 'Home Back' the official video (this is a personal song for the band as it deals with the on-going conflict in their homeland) another one, is their latest release, 'Vortex' the official video, which is taken from their forthcoming album 'Wallflowers' due to be released in late August this year. There are many other great tracks too, but these that I've listed give you a good overall look at the band and Tatiana's amazing vocal range. Personally, I could listen to her sing for hours, and many people both men and women have been seduced by Tatiana's voice. 🙂

Tatiana's skillset is quite diverse. She has most of the skills of a pop diva and the skills of a deep bloke growler. And anything you hear on the recordings she can do live. For proof of that. Check out "Perennial" Live at Wacken 2019. Or another one..."Pit of Consciousness" Live @ Kiev. And honestly in some cases her extreme vocals actually sound better live. Oh and one of her strengths...She can switch vocal techniques on the fly without too much down time between sections. The only style of singing she hasn't displayed yet is Operatic. But everything else is on full display. And the rest of the band are all tight/amazing players in their own right.
