This isn't a bad beat, but the trumpet kills it for me. I hate the vocal mixing, it should be more static, but the echo effect doesn't match the beat, as well as the vocals having too much high-end (in my personal opinion). Tajai killed this track nicely, Opio could've done better, A-Plus was solid, Phesto could have delivered it with more energy (which made him stand out in the debut). The hook isn't memorable or really stand out to me. I also feel like they were trying to recreate "'93 til Infinity" but it doesn't have the same charm, and they shouldn't have focused on recreating that song. I'd give this song a 5/10, because I believed they could've done better and that they had done better prior to this single's release.

I purchased this cassette single for the cover alone. I was quite disappointed with the song though. I disliked the production and the lyrics as well. Sounds like something they just threw together for a soundtrack. i listened to the tape anyway almost hoping there was some hidden song on there but it was just Casual on the b. side with "Later On". I liked Later On better than this song. Hieroglyphics would make a triumphant comeback a few years later with "3rd Eye Vision" the album and Souls Of Mischief's "TRILOGY" album which I loved.
