When I was about 16 years old, my best friend and I got invited to a party in Century City!! My mom took us and the party took place on the ground floor in a hidden room of one of the major hotels. We signed a guestbook as we walked in and as we made our way to the dance floor, we were amazed and surprised, all of the Soul Train dancers were at this party!!! Because we signed the guestbook, we got invited to party after party!! We had a good time for a long time!!🗣✨💃🏿🕺🏿

I am 60 years old and live in Germany, I made my first experience with R&B, soul, funk music in the 70s, when the disco era came to Germany and I got to know the music of Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Marvin Gaye. Later in the 1980s I bought records from SOS Band, Midnight Star, The Deele, The Time, and many others. Since the German discos did not have the most experience of this music, I went to the clubs in the American barracks to dance. I was dancing 2 to 3 times a week and constantly I also got to know many American soldiers who gave me music information. Most of all I have music from singers and in 1987 I was able to experience my first and best concert by Luther Vandross. Since then I have been a big fan of his. I would like to thank all American musicians who made such music and also the people who like to dance and listen to this music. This music and the dance has opened my heart and nurtured my heart, this music has me a Open up a world of emotions that I would never have known. This music showed me the universe and showed my soul. I wish everyone a good and musical time. The morning is like the smile. Greetings from Heidelberg / Germany
