@@timlewis8285 , Dear brother Tim , May i respond to you with the upmost respect . If you're really committed to judging and addressing sodomy in this world while evoking the Hebrew name of the creator , it may behoove you to start with the head of the Christian religion, " The Catholic Church "!! They are currently dealing with multiple child molestation cases stretching around the globe , going back hundreds of years . So if you're still subscribing to a religion that was manipulated by the Greeks and Romans who were openly homosexual and perverted , then perhaps , .... maybe perhaps you might want to reconsider your own position . And i freely advise you this in the spirit of brotherhood and compassion, not trying to be disrespectful . Do i condone homosexuality ? Basically its none of my business what transpires between two consenting adults , unless it targets children. And if your Yaweh is truly going to judge and persecute souls for being homosexual , then our judgement of them seems pretty futile . Thats not my crusade or primary focus in life . May you find solace in your quest for redemption . Stay Blessed 🙏💕

@@sha1841 The beginning of time?!? Ha! You’re funny! Fashion designer and personal stylist are two different things. Personal stylist like Misa Hylton really popularized it in the 80s and 90s. Please do your research on when personal stylist became a job/career that people actually got paid for. Styling isn’t about making the clothes(although some stylist do). It’s about putting a look together with other designers clothing, shopping for the client, dressing them from head to toe, creating treatments for music video shoots, and then some.
@sha1841 Жыл бұрын
@@stephanied1028 Don’t presume to know the level or degree of my intellect. I’m very well aware of the difference between a fashion designer & Personal Stylist. I NEVER said they were the same so the time & energy you wasted trying to educate me or anyone else for that matter was futile at best. In regards my “beginning of time statement” 🗣 The Bible speaks of clothing. You think kings didn’t have “stylists”? Our African ancestors used animal remains to create jewelry & apparel. I can’t imagine everyone in the village being a crafter or designer but I can imagine, even then, there being a “stylist” showing them how to elevate their aesthetic. Just because the term “Personal Stylist” wasn’t mainstream until recent history doesn’t mean the role itself didn’t exist. The soul train dancers deserve a Grammy award 🏆you all were part of that music era that dominated the world as well as that fashion era the Grammy foundation needs to accommodate for your hard work dance and creativity 🎶🎶🎶🎶👏👏👏👏

???? They did not record anything. How do they deserve a grammy?
@TheBluesmanBlue3 жыл бұрын
@@ertfgghhhh they deserve a Grammy because they representing the music world and some of them did go on to be major recording artist and Toney Briggs deserve a Grammy of his own as a creative dancer as well as a creative fashion designer let me make it clear you do not have to be a recording artist to receive a Grammy Grammys are given on creativity if music is involved and music is involved in soul train that's why they deserve a Grammy for that creative dance styles off of music 🎶🎶🎶🎶

@@TheBluesmanBlue If you look Grammy up it tells you what makes you eligible to win one and “creativity” is not in there. It only refers to recordings

@@alexisdejamariee3361 the CEO of the Grammys did say they are open up for new ideas that why I said dancers do need to be added radio DJs as well as radio station because if it was not for all the above music will not be were it is today sweet heart you feel me

Whew. Every episode and all these life-changing stories, has been such a fun emotional rollercoaster! Especially stories like Tamechi Toney Briggs, who despite the initial superficial pushback, went on to contribute so much vibrancy and life to our culture at just the right time. So happy to see him thrive and never accepting 'no' for an answer. ✊🏾✨

WOW!!! so this is the person who dressed me and all my friends in the 80's and 90's. We would watch Soul Train just to see what the dancers were wearing and tried our best to copy the outfits. His fashions are literally why I won BEST DRESSED in High School. I'm Starstruck😊😍

And I love how when the storyteller describes a specific instance on the show, Soul train is able to pull up that instance on video. Excellent storytelling.
