Great comparison. I have both Pi8 and Px8 too. My preference is for Pi8 because they are portable for on the go and they can do what a big pair of headphones Px8 can do. But my reference is still my Devialet Gemini ii. To my ears, the Gemini clearly goes one octave lower in the bass than both Pi8 and Px8. The bass on the Pi8 and Px8 have more body but rolls off before the lowest octave. Other areas are comparable, but I find bass detail on the Gemini is clearly better defined than both B&Ws.

Seeing how you have the samsung galaxy s23 ultra did you do the test with the normal Aptx bluetooth codec? Is there a noticeable audio difference when you use the pi8 plugging the audio source in the charging case? (Since it uses aptx adaptive or lossless i think)

Sorry for the late response. I did use aptX on the S23 Ultra. The sound was a little louder using the case to transmit. I really couldn't tell the difference between aptX adaptive and lossless even when using just my 5G connection.

I have the pi8 and the Denon perl pro. The Denon is very good and for the price one of the best. The pi8 is a different animal. It's the best sound you can get at this moment for earbuds. If you have the money and you want the best of the best sound: PI8....

@@Tropicalistico In Germany and in Holland you can buy the Denon Perl Pro for about 150 euro new. For that price the Denon's are unbeatable. Better than the Sony WF 1000xm5 or the sennheiser momentum 4 true wireless.

this is a common issue for B&W earbuds, from my experience the right bud goes dead sooner than the left, so the total battery life is not equal for both buds, is this situation still exist in pi8?

I love mine but they are doing the same thing charging fully then the battery drops down a little to around 96%. I’ve been troubleshooting with Bowers. Not sure if hardware or software related.
