Great tutorial, straight to the point and full detailed. :) I have a problem though, I was wondering if someone could help me out: when I apply the "unisono-portamento" script to the cello solo instrument, it doesn't work at all, it changes the pitch of the first note, and doesn't glide, nor kill the first note (of course both mono and portamento mode are on)...is it a problem with my DAW or am I missing something?
@shadowgauge58523 жыл бұрын
It's the Legato control, you have to go into the actual LUA script to fix it, which does require scripting knowledge that you won't learn on KZbin, granted you will find a bunch of click bait BS like this.
@Gardener73 жыл бұрын
@@shadowgauge5852 I'm at this point now. Wanting to make my own script, but finding little/no information how to do it. Did you find any good resources anywhere?
@shadowgauge58523 жыл бұрын
@@Gardener7 I have figured it out... well enough anyway... And no, not really. Basically its LUA script, which I was able to find basics on pretty easily, the rest I got out of the Kontakt scripting API.... Long story short, your making a text file in a specific directory, or .nkp file I think, it has been a minute. I basically cut and pasted a script together that turned midi files into arpeggiators, it wasn't that difficult, but by no means did I come close to streamlining the process, but keywords "Lua scripting" and "Kontakt Scripting API" should direct to some intermediate level resources. Also, not sure how far into your "studies" you are, but the 'DAFX' Dsp book for MatLAB (500 level audio engineering mind you) has a lot of the necessary formulas for doing the intricate shiz, but that's still above my pay grade... rite now neway. Anyway, I hope that helps, and I am sorry people are dicks.. :D

Wondering if you could do, or have done a video on: taking an acoustic sound, brass, wind, string and adding resonant filter that can be controlled via CC. Like the Resonant filter in Logic's EXS, or Sample modaling's Expression parameter. I've tried, and it seems like such a simple thing that should be so simple, but, alas, I've been unable to figure it out.....

Is it possible to add custom scales to the scale options? Also if you can do that, is it possible to set a script to play pure intervals like a 1-3-5 routing from each note of your custom scale?
@olymoon200811 жыл бұрын
Very interesting tutorial. Only one question : Once you have find a good script and used learn midi CC automation , how do you reproduce the same on another instruments, nki. The script is easy to copy, but the learned automation ??

@shadowgauge58523 жыл бұрын
@@thekeysman6760 No, it's really not. You can add vector information to pre-existing scripts, but this tutorial doesn't even show you how to do that, it doesn't even mention that Kontakt uses LUA, nor does he even load a custom script, he loads a fricken preset FFS, I am surprised anyone that would find this useful even knows how to turn on a computer. If this tutorial was useful, you should just stick to Fruity Loops.

I want a script that mixes too samples based on velocity such that sample A gets 100 percent sample B gets zero percent when velocity is at maximum, and when at minimum, the opposite, A gets 0 percent and B gets 100 percent, and mixed percentages when velocity is in the middle accordingly I want another script that does exactly the same thing with mod wheel.
