@@TTV_Dj_Gamer_09 It won't just be photos - it will include video and sound as well. I think overall, it will make the game more interactive and less - take photos of salt. I think getting uniques won't be nearly as hard as people think. It looks like 5 photos - so I'd guess 5 videos/sounds.

I just hope that with the photo rework they'll change names so it'll be easier to know what's unique and what isn't. Cause right now 90% of the photo types is labeled interaction. Also I wonder what about the photos that count twice like crucifix, ghost writing and dirty water

I'd imagine dirty water would count for only the first dirty water. BUT... I too wonder about the crucifix. It is one of the bigger photo rewards so only getting one makes me less willing to burn crucifixes. ALSO - what about the ghost? Right now we can only get one but in previous versions of Phasmophobia, we could take tons of ghost photos. Will duplicates be worth more than some uniques? Will we even be able to take a duplicate?

I HATE the ghost photo now. When it didn't have to be in the journal, it wasn't terrible but definitely one of my least favorite tasks. I count about 10 possible uniques per game right now. So if we have 5 photos, 5 video - then I think we have plenty to capture.

@@ChickyTV Well, the 5 photo's won't be that hard, but what kind of video evidence do we have to capture. I mean, bone, cursed item, dirty water, ghost writing, salt, burned crucifix, ghost photo, interaction from candle or UV fingerprint or footprint. Its predefined already and can be used to do a unique evidence photo. But its still not the max we need now for a a perfect run. But what will there to be filmed. Are they gonna implement new evidences to identify ghost by film and or sound? And what about Dots.... will it be a unique dots photo, or will it count as a ghost photo.

But I would suppose ghost events on video, orbs, ghost interactions on video - all of that would be unique. I'd assume unique event and photo are separate too.

I think for the EVP ( electronic voice phenomen ) you will only have a light that show you that a sound is being capture, and u listen from your journal after, its the same for real life ghost hunting, theres voices u cant hear with humans ears but once home you can discover freaky voices that was right next to you

This sounds right. I'd like to be able to listen back to it and hear some creepy stuff. We know that there will be lights indicating it is recording. Now I just hope it's not "electronic" so you can use it during a hunt.

Wow these updates look awesome! A new era of phasmo it seems... The bleasdale change is insane, looks nothing like it does right now. I miss the OG phasmo a lot, but this game has progressed so well. Very exciting!

I miss OG Phas sometimes too! I think one of the nice things about way back then is that no one really knew how the game worked. So we didn't know if the ghost could hear us during a hunt or how long it would hunt or how far it wandered. All that mystery added to the fear! I do love that the game is progressing but I do miss those early phas days too!

Grafton is my current favorite map for solo, just the right size for a good challenge. Hopefully the rework makes it a bit more spooky going by that picture, but I also hope it stays the same size.

They used to have much better lighting in the game. I think a few other partners have complained that it's not been readded still. The team is small - but it started with just one developer. It's quite a bit bigger now but still not a huge team.

I would love this as well. I feel like choosing to play the old school maps should always be an option - even if it means that there will be bugs or we don't get experience. I think most players would like an option to visit these locations - especially if they started to play AFTER they were removed.

@ChickyTV Very much so. From the videos I watched the old Asylum looked like a terrible map but it is something I would love to experience, even with updated mechanics. Bleasdale and Grafton I would say is one of my favourite maps. Slightly bigger than the house maps but not too big for single player. I can see why they both need an over haul. Some more features and unique spots for looping etc and if anything, to make them more distinct from each other lol.

@@Javadamutt Yeah, I think for a lot of people who played the original Asylum, it's more nostalgia than anything. Plus with the old mechanics where all ghosts were kite-able/loopable - even the revenant to some extent - it definitely had some good rounds played there. I can understand not allowing access to the old Ridgeview though because it's changes were more cosmetic and minimal. The map feels mostly the same.

@ChickyTV I can see that too. When the old mechanics changed the level design had to keep up to an extent With Ridgeview it Would be funny tho as an April fools joke that the layout reverted randomly. No patch notes, no explanation, 1 in every 1000 it randomly happened just to mess with people

Then again, if they include the GIGGS Crew’s pets, I’d imagine they’d have to include the pets of everyone who’s been associated with them (Norman, Flick, Meri, any pets of Xisuma or Bdubs, Nugget, Olive, etc). Ghost Exile has a sound recorder, and I'm kind of hoping it's at least as good as that one. Although that is more like you ask questions, listen back to it to see if the ghost whispered in it. Either way, I'm excited to see what it will bring to the game.

@@ChickyTV hmm I don’t believe that yet. Last year they showed pictures of Point hope in January or February. And it took another 4 months before the map came out. So I expect at least the same timeframe.

I'm guessing by the looks of grafton. It's probably going to be a farm. Or ranch of some type. The chicken isn't what says it for me. It's the corn crops behind it. Which I would be down for. In all honesty. It would be nice to have certain skins for each ghost on the different maps. Cause after seeing gameplay of demonologists. It would be cool to see phasma try some things similar. Things that would be scary. Like the ghosts moving things around like a chair or table. Tipping over tvs. Things like that. Depending on how aggressive the ghost is

Technically both Bleasdale and Grafton are "farmhouses" although they currently have more of a "cabin in the woods" feel. If you go behind Bleasdale, there's even a pumpkin patch and a scarecrow. But that could be a chicken coop - or maybe it's just a shed for tools. I dunno!

As for the spending time inside, because of all the "secrets" outside of maps, I've spent tons of time covering every inch of every map. When they hinted at the Point Hope release, there was a thing with the scarecrow that you had to light it up with a candle to get the clue! I actually thought that was really good and creative!

I count 10 possible uniques in the current game. Salt, dead body, dirty water, uv, ghost writing, bone, cursed item, interaction, ghost photo, crucifix. I'm sure I'm missing something. But it looks like the two pages of pictures is just 5 photos. So I'd guess the other 5 are for video and sound recording.

Difficulty should change how many photos you can delete. Apocalypse 0, Nightmare 1, Professional 2, Intermediate 3, Amateur 4. Particularly when you run the risk of accidentally snapping a duplicate photo when there's multiple things in shot.

That seems more tedious than challenging. Maybe it can be 2 for any difficulty higher than professional, then intermediate 3 and amateur 4, like you said. That could even be a new custom difficulty modifier. Or they can just do away with that entirely. I'd prefer if you could just delete photos until you got all 3 star photos. It already has the natural drawback of needing to stay in the house longer to keep taking photos until you get it right. Right now if the game tells me I got 3 bad photos, I just go back to the truck and end the game.

I don't think the playerbase is going anywhere. It's been going strong for 4 years already. Phas has managed to stay in the top 100 on Steam the whole time so that's decently good.

I think the current ghosts need some enhancing before they add more. But I'm sure new ghost types are always a possibility.
