I can't believe they didn't release this song, and I can't believe it's NOT in the movie, this was bonus, outtakes. HIGHLY recommend the doc, one of the best music docs I've ever seen.

@@jasonpoland5507 I meant released as a single, like for "radio" never heard it anywhere but the clip, and it's just so good it might have performed... I'll watch the movie for a fourth time but I'm pretty sure it was a dvd extra, not IN the actual doc

This has to be one of my all time favourite Corey songs...it's a toss up between this and the acoustic version of song 3. Thanks for reacting to this, so few people seem to have been aware it exists..and it's soooooo good

This song was the greatest showcase of Corey's talents. From the highs he can hit, to the pure emotion he has in his voice. This song is severally underrated.

The whole SoundCity Documentary is great. It was a Recording Studio and they talk about all the bands that had recorded there, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Nirvana and others. SoundCity was closing down because nobody wanted to record their Albums the old way on tape and Dave Grohl bought their sound board and took it to his recording studio because he likes recording the old way better. A good watch.

You are the epitome of what research is on a basic level of love for the music is boss. Respect ‘cuz you’re 100% correct on the whole Sound City doc was. With more involved but the essence was told in your statement.

Should do Corey's new solo song "Beyond". It's reallyyyy good. He's still killing it. Saw slipknot 8 years ago can't wait to see his solo tour in August!

I saw when the goosebumps got you! Same place as me... But to put it in persepctive, I first heard this song about 4 days after my girlfriend of 8 months told me she had been with her ex for the last week and was taking him back... I was incredibly hurt and angry and this song read my mind so completely!! I listen to it often, it helps me understand the range of emotions I went through, and my path to healing. Amazing song!! Corey's voice is incredible belting out the emotions, and David's drums are always on point!!

Anything Corey touches is gold!! Lol Slipknot has been my fav. band since 99, ive seen them 11 times(most recent was 3 weeks ago with a7x and others at welcome to rockville) and ive seen Stone Sour multiple times as well..the man can do no wrong in my book lol. I also know it wasnt intentional but i enjoyed there being no video and just watching your reaction to just the audio on our side..it makes me genuinely happy to see you get excited and react to certain parts 😁 especially when its the same exact parts that i feel as well lol

Apart from this song, my other favourites from the album are Mantra (Grohl, Reznor, Homme) and Cut Me Some Slack (Grohl, Smear, Novoselic, McCartney!!!). Talking about collaborative rock music, there isn't really anything bigger than SoundCity in recent times. It is insane that this monstrous all-stars record is not well-known.

I would seriously love if you reacted to some jxdn songs! He's one of the artists toward the front of the current revival of pop-punk and he has a great way of signing about things that are really heavy and serious feelings but making them fun and catchy. Plus, he just has a great voice. If you want to do stuff on the sadder side, "Tell Me About Tomorrow," "Beautiful Boy," and "Even in the Dark" are a wonderful trio of songs about helping his best friend Cooper through his issues of drug abuse and reflecting on his unfortunate death later.
