Oor is an excellent example of THE DETAIL THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. MEVER THOUGHT that a source can change the sound so much. Warmer, thicker sound, with more velvety details. And I agree that in simpler designs liniar power supply is better.

I have FE DAC , Topping DAC , with ESS and AKM velvet . I have also Naim reference with R2R DAC with 555 serie power supply The best sound in my opinion is naim . They implemented design is right. 40bit floating DSP . Completely galvanic isolated. There is white paper show the implementation. 👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋

DC /DC are noisy is not possible to reach -140dB floor for 24bit
