You can tell if a Hightower game has a decent trolldier by the state of the rocks. If the rocks are clean, you're alone on the scene. If black percent is high, keep an eye an on the sky.

How to kill trolldier. 1. Airblast competance (keep them up in a way so your team can kill them) 2. Out hardread them 3. Get to a sentry nest 4. Rudely use minis. 5. Natasha. I tried using the scorch shot but the troldier got around it and he almost got me. He came back and i airblasted him off the cliff. I HAD THE HIGH GROUND!

6: Reserve Shooter. Since the Rocket Jumper counts as blast jumping in the engine, they are obligated to eat mini-crit damage if you're quick on the draw. Additionally, the Source engine applies mini-crits to the knockback force from the pellets, kicking them around even more and messing up their airstrafes.

Can you go over the acceptable times to be playing trolldier? Because (as a tryhard casual), I see way too many people trying to play trolldier, getting rolled, and then getting salty, instead of playing on a seperate class/sub-class, and actually winning. at the very least I'd like to hear your opinion on it.
@SoundSmithTF27 жыл бұрын
I'm of the opinion that Casual Mode can be used to do whatever you want, be it Trolldiering, being Friendly, Fat Scouting, or Tryharding. It's Casual, people should be allowed to mess around. And while I understand the frustration of being stuck on a team of people who aren't taking the game seriously, I think that problem stems from the broken Competitive Mode, not the people in Casual Mode. People who want an official gamemode more for serious gameplay are stuck in Casual, which sucks, but we should focus on pushing for a functional Competitive mode rather than yelling at people who are playing the game Casually in a mode that is literally named for that. (Edited to fix a typo)
@TheDragongladiator7 жыл бұрын
I agree, (some of the people I play with very much don't), But is it really fun to play trolldier/friendly when the enemy team is going to crush you regardless of your efforts? as far as I'm concerned, in Casual you can play the game however you want, (I myself play demoknight when possible), but the primary focus is to win the game, and if you aren't able to do anything, or keep getting shut down, would you keep playing trolldier, just for the sake of it being your main? I've even seen people playing trolldier simply because they want to prove someone wrong when they say "You're not going to be able to do much as trolldier this round".

as a spy main, these rocks are my saviour as I can use them to escape; a person may chase you, so become invis and have one many ways o go: into the health pack by the cliff shack, to the health pack in front of you at the spawn building or across the rocks to the Hightower. Now since the first two are closer the enemy will genially think you will go these two paths so taking the rock path is where I tend to go since not only have I lost the enemy but I can also pick a few health packs and ammo spots to grab.

Also to counter trolldeirs, because they are coming in a straight line at you it makes it easy to headshot them as sniper, a quick headshot will stop a lot of forward momentum with their jump and you can finish them off with a body shot.
