You know you could just copy the fog controller entity, or hit the copy values button under the dropdown for entity type and paste it to a new entity.

Hey TopHATT. So the version of source I'm using (HL2:EP2) does not have a fog density option in its sky_camera. I'm using a fog density value of .4 for my env_fog_controller. Is there a workaround to get the fog in my 3D skybox to match the density of the fog in the map (without changing games)? Any replies appreciated.

Hey! I am making a Horror map, and im working with Fog alot. I did add Z-Clip behind the Fog. (As you did say.) But the Skybox still shines through, do i really need to add that urban texture, or is there any other way around that? (The skybox texture isn't everywhere, but on some places.)

Prophet Muhammad nope, I just added func_smokevolune around the map to make the transition kinda seemless

i just noticed that not all source games have the Fog_volume entity option of brush as well as this purple Fog_volume texture it's so simple thing, why Source not added it to everything and even Wikia says it's only in portal, and left4dead

Thanks! This is great help, even after many years. So far everything i tried works just fine, but i still have one issue tho that i couldnt find any sollution for: For some reason props of all kinds will get somewhat covered by the fog in my map, but they wont hide completely and instead just become very dark one-tone color. The same applies for props underwater. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Can somebody help me out? I have been trying to run my map and when I am going into game it wont let me join any team then kicks me out. This is the error that comes into console - PutClientInServer: no info_player_start on level My players aren't clipping through the ground and it does show them on hammer.
