I loved your engaging reaction and you're right: The four of them are not only amazing singers and artists, but seem like incredibly lovely people as well - funny, quirky, caring and absolutely crazy for music. They really seem to love what they're doing and doing it together. They are each other's greatest fans, and I think that shows with every performance. I discovered them about four months ago and they keep amazing me. Their covers are brilliant and transformative, and their original songs are works of art. Thank you for your reaction! This is Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; an audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However, as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Hijo de la Luna, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. I too love the extremes!! Their bass 'Ko Woorim', and their Tenor~Soprano 'Kang Hyungho' are absolutely amazing. What baffles me, is that three of them had either been classically trained (Basso profundo & Tenor Leggiero, both rare vocal types) or had experience from doing Musicals (Baritone~Tenor), while their Soprano didn't recieve any training whatsoever prior to joining!!! Safe to say he was born with the voice of an angel. He might've become a chemist had he not auditioned for that vocal quartet show

This is from old English folk song. Simon & Garfunkel version is the most famous as far I know. There are some stories about this song Scarborough Fair..what I've read was this is a song from a ghost (soul) of a dead soldier. He asked the herbs growing on his dead body to deliver his message to his beloved girl in Scarborough Fair where was a big herb market. He asked the herbs to tell her impossible task "Tell her to make me a cambric shirt without no seams nor needle work" to make her give up waiting for his coming back as he's already unable as he's dead. Forestella sang like as messengers of this sad and beautiful story. Also there are symbols those herbs significated: parsley for comfort or to remove bitterness, sage for strength, thyme for courage, and rosemary for love. There's some speculation that these four herbs were used in a tonic of some sort to remove curses. What I first heard was to remove memories..so I thought he (the dead soldier) wanted to remove the memory about him from his girl to make her not mourning for him anymore. BTW I found those herbs cannot be grown in the same areas in fact while on my researching English references.. so it could be just for remembering the recipe for turkey seasoning ingredients, too.

So glad that you've finally got to Forestella. Big thanks to Michael from Germany! I'm sure you'll love Hijo De La Luna and Nella Fantasia, but Forestella (like Pentatonix) can sing brilliantly basically anything. So try Bohemian Rhapsody,Time In A Bottle (big favourite), Sweet Dreams and Despacito etc, etc. I'm looking forward to more Forestella reactions as this was a very appropriate one. Thanks.

FORESTELLA is definitely one of the best that music industry has to offer. This version of "Scarborough Fair" is one of their more classically songs and showcases their unique abilities and ranges beautifully. BUT these guys are incredibly versatile and creative, taking on EVERY GENRE and style. Thanks to their very flexible voices and outstanding skills, they adapt to any genre and deliver one best performance after another. They mostly cover TOP songs, give them their own flavor and, with each of these versions, make the original their own and make it a new TOP. Definitely recommended: "Lazenka Save US" (Rock/Metal), MAMA (by EXO), "Bohemian Rhapsodie" "LEGENDS NEVER DIE" (from League fo Legends) and their originals "Snow Globe", "Save Our Lives", " "Utopia" and "White Night". ALL of these performances are INCREDIBLE and TOP NOTCH. And also greetings from Germany.

With all the channels I'm subscribed to, I almost missed your reaction, so I apologize for the late reply. Each of the members has a great voice, but their harmony when they sing together is outstanding. Their group name is a mixture of "forest" and the Latin/Italian word "stella", which means star. So Forestella means a forest of stars. Their names from left to right in this video: Ko Woorim (classically trained basso profundo), Kang Hyungho (countertenor and rock voice, no official vocal training), Cho Mingyu (classically trained tenor and leader of the group), Bae Doohoon (tenor, musical actor). They were formed on the show "Phantom Singer". The aim of this show is to form a quartet. The candidates start as solo artists, then form duos, trios and finally quartets. Forestella is the winner of season 2. They sing all kinds of genres. For rocky songs you could check out "Lazenca, Save us" (a theme song of a Korean anime series), their cover of Imagine Dragons' "Warriors" or their creative rendition of "Time in a Bottle". For very emotional performances I recommend "Je suis malade" or "If I leave". Forestella sing in many languages: Korean, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian etc. The guys also have their own songs like "Save our Lives" (1st part of a trilogy; the music video is a cinematic masterpiece), "Utopia" (Queen vibes, 2nd part of the trilogy) and "White Night" (simply gorgeous). BTW, I'm very surprised that your reaction hardly gets any views. Forestella is currently very popular in the reaction scene and I saw even small channels getting thousands of views to Forestella reactions. This is really strange.

Hi Michael and thank you SO MUCH for bringing Forestella to the channel! Also thank you for your incredible feedback. I really appreciate you! No worries on the low views. The reason for that is that the record label ( their copyright holders) placed an immediate 2 day global block on the video as soon as I published it...so in actuality the video has only been up for a few hours on KZbin because of that. It would STILL be blocked if I had not disputed the copyright claim. These types of setbacks are something that every music reactor deals with on the regular. Check back in a couple of days and I believe you will find the viewing numbers more to your expectations. A 2 day global block doesn't normally affect SUPER ARTISTS much anyway! Scarborough Fair is an Old English Folk Song. We had to sing it "in Rounds" in Music Class, 60 years ago. As a result, I hated this song (even Simon & Garfunkel's version).. until Forestella. They breathed life, and pathos into it, as befits the words. You should check out their Bohemian Rhapsody, Shape of You, Bad Romance or Despacito. If you like Metal, you should check out The HU (if you haven't already). Try their Yuve, Yuve, Yu with Danny from From Ashes to New. Or Mother Nature with L.P..
