This was an incredibly well done production. It is so hard to believe it was done at a high school level because the production quality was so masterful and polished. A lot of love and talent went into this and hats off to everyone involved. The players who were cast in the roles of Emile, Nellie and Bloody Mary were standouts , in my opinion and the entire cast were great.

Of course, it wasn't Broadway; nevertheless, it was an outstanding production. You can tell that these kids worked very hard and were well rehearsed. They are very talented and should be very proud of this work. They will be able to look back on this years from now with great pride. I am so glad that I came across this tonight---WONDERFUL!!!

Well, I was on a South Pacific kick tonight & seeing it was a high school musical, I wasn't expecting much, but I was totally blown away how GREAT this was!!! Almost like professionals. A big thumbs up to everyone in it!

I can't get over how wonderful this production is. Especially considering that high school students have plenty of other things to occupy their time, like studying, taking exams, etc. How did they manage to put in all of the hours of practice that this must have taken? Amazing!

I have to be honest. So many high schools post their shows on KZbin, and I know they are just kids who are proud of themselves, but the quality is usually so poor I feel bad for them. So when I stumbled across this production I wasn't sure why I should watch. I thought you guys did a terrific job. Congrats to the cast and crew. I hope you are all still doing theater in some capacity

The actor playing Emile is very strong, way beyond his age. He understood his character and executed it flawlessly. His dreamy and rich singing voice was so strong! Bravo to him.

It is not in the original script and it is quiet expensive to add it to the license package actually.

the original script does not include "my girl back home". It first appeared in the movie version and was used in the latest revival. When you get a license to perform the show one must pay extra to perform that song. That is what I was referring to as "not the original script".

This was amazing for high schoolers. Remember, these are a bunch of untrained, busy kids who have so many more things to worry about than a musical. And yet, they still put on an amazing show.

+Michael Schuhler Actually, I was writing my opinion through the prism of being High Schoolers. It is obvious that their strength is in their vocal and not in their acting, or rather in this case copying abilities. There is not shame in not being perfect in all disciplines, but there is shame in not being honest.

Yes, the acting may have needed more exploring, but they were right on with expressing conviction of their characters. The vocal quality was far superior than other student actors their age. Honesty has nothing to do with it. There are built in realities of being 14-18 year olds, so we must not be too critical.
