The Fractured butt Whole had a DLC with a challenge mode. It was 1 of the 3 options in the DLC. That challenge mode was longer and more fun then this entire game. For context: The whole game takes as long as 1/3 of the DLC of FBW. What a let down and disappointment. For $29.99, this game is WAY over priced for what it delivers. If you really want to play this game, wait sometime. You will see the price drop down to under $10. Rating: 2/10. It got a 2 bc playing with friends is fun for about 20mins. Then its just repetitive and boring given the limited stages, weapons and abilities.

imagine this being south park filling their ”quota”* of only about roughly 10 episodes a year (in terms of how long they are), and 5 hours being about 10 episodes (not really as they’re 22 minutes, but I’m gonna go off the 30 min airtime) and such we won’t get a new season or specials this year *ever since the specials became a thing the numbers of episodes per season have been 6, and then 2 specials which are about 2 episodes in length each, meaning we still get the 10 episode length but just in another, mixed format

Trust me a 3 is about what this game is for people that played the last 2 south park games if you not played them 2 and only play this one then yea people will give it a average score but from the last 2 games this is a 3 for sure nothing what people wanted for the next series it not even written by terry or matt so a intern probably did it as it shows.

Looks like something they would do on a snow day in South Park to me. It's not the 3rd in a series of turn based games, so why would anyone even compare it to that? It's a South Park fighting game, and IMO we are lucky to get another game from them to play!

Honestly, if the controls were just tweaked a little and the writing was better, I'd be content. I wish trey parker and matt stone had been involved. I love the visual aesthetic of this game and I think that this hack and slash, rogue-like approach could yield a WONDERFUL South Park adventure in the future. For whatever reasons behind the scenes though, they fumbled this one hard. I'm a firm believer that South Park can overcome the "all of our 3D adaptation games suck" curse. Straight up, if this game has gone full balls to walls with it and made it an open world, 3d action RPG like dark souls or elden ring, we'd have a real interesting South Park game on our hands. Even the premise of a hyperbolized snow-day combined with the fantasy roleplay from Stick of Truth doesn't feel like it was a bad call. I love the way they used that as a premise to have the kids' imaginations make everything look 3d and claymation-like. All in all, bad game but not because of the premises behind all its parts. It's was just put together and executed poorly and I hope that the devs don't take the wrong lesson and never attempt this again.

Stick of Truth -> Developed by Obsidian Fractured but Whole -> Ubisoft Snow Day -> Question Games, LLC Matt Stone isn't credited as a writer on Snow Day, but he is the other 2 Question LLC doesn't even have a Wikipedia page, and only has 2 small, indie games under their belt
