please fire Camille's judge
@pulga90p7 жыл бұрын
She was leaving a trailing foot behind, comming up from the lungee, her feet werent in line. she was always leaving a foot behind, and she was the only one doing so, so the judge only did her job

No rule saying she can't do that..

What were all the no reps during the first overhead lunges?
@dianak.54127 жыл бұрын
Al Sievert I seriously didn't see why CLB got all these no reps on the WBs. Why was that? Not high enough? Not deep enough? Watched it a couple of times....
@pulga90p7 жыл бұрын
She was taking the next step onto the lungee without first having her feet together comming up from the previous lubgee. she was always leaving a foot behind, and she was the only one doing so, so the judge only did her job. Too bad for Cam, but those were legit no reps, the judge did a good job.
@patrickpiazza54827 жыл бұрын
Al Sievert but there is no requirement to put your feet together before the next step. Elijah Muhammad paused once the entire length and didn't get no repped. Could it be that she wasn't extending her hips before taking the step?

actually, there is: "Each Overhead lunge begins with the dumbell overhead, the FEET TOGETHER, and the athlete standing tall" games.crossfit.com/workouts/regionals/2017/3#movementStandards

I think it was the east coverage in which Castro specifically makes a comment about judging. He said he didn't want to do Murph because the weighted vest and push-up judging discrepancies would be too great. Considering many of the comments here, it's an interesting perspective to hear it from Castro - even he's aware that the standards will fluctuate greater in the regionals, as I'm sure it's even more glaring in the open.

If Crossfit isn't going to have color commentary for the first several heats, why not direct the stadium announcer commentary direct to the live stream, rather than having to hear it echoing through the stadiums?

That one judge done messed up both Camille's and Sweeney's weekend 😭

You know what just annoys me right now? You have a social media tie in and want to show how the fans interact with the games. That's fine. But almost every comment here is about how Camille got screwed over by the judge. That seems to be the main social media reaction to the south regionals event 3. And every social media interaction you show is "cute baby", "Castro gave away his hat" and stuff like that. If you want to make a point of showing fan involvement, show the controversies and the criticism, too. Have your panel address what is really going on in the heads of the audience.

What was Camille no repped for? Hard to tell in the video...
@PeterK19847 жыл бұрын
Basically the same thing Brooke Wells was no repped for in the open. Damn, the inconsistent/bad judging on those events is really getting out of hand

Camille's judge deserves a 4 year ban from all crossfit sanctioned events.

Just saw all the no reps for Camilles walking lunges. 🙈🙈🙈 Just ridiculous! Poor Camille. Already commented on the WBs. What a bad judge! Brooke Ence once had a really bad judge at the games. They can really give you a hard time!
