Northern California just had a tsunami alert. Cancelled after figuring out there was only sideways quaking vs. up and down on these faults. The result was lots of traffic and closed schools. Oh well, maybe next time. ;-)

kalau berdasarkan ilmu sains setiap beberapa ratus tahun pasti datang lagi di tempat yang sama/ berdekatan karena letaknya ada di pertemuan 2 lempeng bumi. jadi untuk wilayah aceh kemungkinan besar akan aman untuk kurang lebih seratus tahun kedepan karena energi dari tumbukan 2 lempeng sudah terlepas. untuk wilayah lain yang berada di zona patahan dan belum mengalami tsunami semenjak indonesia berdiri sangat perlu untuk bersiap2, karena energinya pasti sudah banyak terkumpul. tinggal tunggu dilepaskan dalam bentuk gempa bumi dan tsunami.
