Yummy! I know it was good. The caramel was on point. Excellent! It has a very nice color to it. I see why caramel Cakes cost a lot. It’s the time it takes to make the frosting

Thank you! My goodness the caramel was soooo delicious! I'm so glad you said it was a labor of love because I would have given up. Hubby eating the left over caramel. The consistency was perfect and it didn't get too stiff to spread. At first I stirred it every few minutes but then started to notice small clumps. I then began stirring constantly, the small clumps dissolved and it thickened into caramel! Yummers!😂😅😂😅

Can the frosting be made a day or two ahead or will it get hard

That’s a great question. I’m not sure since I’ve never done it before, and I followed someone else’s recipe. Based on the texture it was, I think it would be fine to make in advance. I would suggest making sure it’s room temperature when you’re ready to use it. If it’s too thick at that point, I would add a little bit of milk.
