Southern hotspot: Ukrainian army prepares for counterattack under a hail of Russian artillery

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated dozens of settlements in the Kherson region from the Russian aggressor. The Russian army is moving its strike groups into the Kherson region to prevent the Ukrainian army from going on a counteroffensive. Russian troops are massively using heavy artillery, including Grad launch rocket system and even banned phosphorus bombs. Our correspondent Anastasiya Zhuk spoke with Ukrainian defenders in the Kherson direction.

There is such a huge difference between how Russia and Ukraine treat their soldiers. Russia treats them like slaves to be thrown away and Ukraine treats them like the brave and willing patriots they are. This extends far beyond Ukraine, when Ukraine wins it will be a victory for what is best in man. If Russia would have won this war it would have meant a new dark age for the world.

Ukraine has no chance of winning this war ..... the experts opinion, not mine ...... they are totally out classed with manpower and weaponry. Remember, Russia only put 20-30% of its force amassed on the border into the fight. They have just has a new shipment of T 90M tanks ...... while Ukraine begs for more weaponry. The recent CBS News article calculated that only 30% of weapons shipped to Ukraine ever make it onto the front line ...... the rest is sold on the black market. Ukraine is truly the sacrificial lamb in this war ...... it will be barely recognizable when this is finished.
