Not a single Ukranian soldier was born in the Donbass. All of the soldiers born in the Donbass fight for the Russian side. Who's invading who? The Donbass is a territory that has been historically Russian and its inhabited by Russian speaking people. You'll not find a single writer or poet born in that region that wrote in Ukranian and spoke of the Ukraine as his/her motherland.

As far as Ukraine..people have been misled. I would suggest people start researching azov (n zism in the Ukraine military..wearing SS insignias) a bit more and the Ukraine cluster bombing (even banned phosphorus bombs) of innocent Russian cities/towns in Donbas for the last 8 years. Ukraine has also littered Russian civilian areas with pedal bombs and target grade schools. Also I would advise looking into NATO and the fact has expanded eastward 5 times since the fall of the USSR....Putin early on floated the idea of joining NATO but of course Russia was/is the arch enemy and was quickly rebuffed...needless to say NATO has been a hot button for Russia for years and the installation of anti Russian government in Ukraine turned into Russias proverbial North Korea. Lastly, I find it ironic how the public at large believes the press without question despite being caught in lie after lie for years and worse yet has no memory of what they were told earlier...

The Donbass is a territory that has been historically Russian and its inhabited by Russian speaking people. Ukraine still needs help and we can do this. Come back alive Ukraine, Blue and Yellow a Lithuanian organization that supplies drones, or VestForUkraine which supplies vests and other much needed gear. These are all good places to donate even a little to help Ukraine kick the bad guys out of their country once and for all. Another good thing to do is write your government demand more action and sanctions against Russia or aid for Ukraine.

they have to do so because on higher altitudes there are Buk, S300 and what not else systems ready to intercerept. MANPAD operator still need clear line of sight to hit aircraft so flying just above treetops kinda helps to break LoS. Those helis minimised their risks as much as possible

So in your mind, the conflict in the Donbas justifies the killing of thousands of civilians in the Ukraine, the rape of girls and women, and wholesale pillaging by the Russian Army. There can be negotiations; however, you have to be very wary to trust the Russians witness the recent bombardment of Odessa by the Russians after they signed the grain agreement. All of the people on both sides in this conflict have my sympathy. I mourn the unnecessary deaths of many young soldiers and innocent civilians. So many lives have been shattered in this unnecessary conflict. The majority of nations recognize this criminal war is the direct responsibility of Putin. Russia will suffer the economic and political consequences for years to come.
