A very powerful message, particularly with what's happening in Ukraine. It brings me to tears seeing the hell they are going through right now. Don't forget Jack was in JF's band. His voice may not be quite as powerful as John's, but there is a definite similarity.

Maybe it's because I heard so much of John Farnham and Jack Jones growing up, but they don't actually sound very similar to me. I can hear a different timbre in their voice, and their phrasing is different to me too. I remember think they were similar when I first heard them both, but within a year or two, they were two completely different and distinct singers. Also, as time has gone on, Jack has further developed his style to the point where I don't think he sounds like John at all anymore.

As we spoke about how relevant this song is for now with Ukraine, covid,domestic violence etc. Let's pray that as John Lennon said "Imagine". Thats what we should be striving for. Peace and equality.
