What made you go with the Hoosier instead of the 28” M/T Is it better for this power level ? I planned on running some E/T Street SS on a 17” weld with possibly some vms skinnies, will be FBO.

Yeah at a Bolton power level and stock gears I wanted to optimize the car the best way I could so I dropped to a smaller tire to save weight and "gear the car up" so to speak

You did very good tires wheels headers exhaust and x pipe and a cold air intake and a computer tune stock otherwise 11.80s is very good from 13.6 stock and 12.80s with exhaust with stock tires a good camshaft with matching valve springs and pushrods a circle D 4200rpm stall converter a aluminium one piece driveshaft ZL1 fuel pump and injectors computer retuned for E85 11.0-11.3 easy maybe 10.90s naturally aspirated drive to the track with air conditioning on race drive home

Yes. Some 17s clear the stock Brembos but mine didn't. Plus I saved some weight

@@rickmerola6157 if you run a different size tire in the back the computer WILL freak out. All you have to do is hold the TC button for 5-7 seconds and it will disable traction and stability so you wont have problems. But the correct way would be to have both tire sizes the same

These were off of a Gto and they fit perfectly. Anything 17" without a deep offset should fit good

@@greggrant4080 get a 17" drag pack! Too many people do 18s. Its still too much rotational weight. A drag pack will help immensely
