That's a trap, if they tried to claim that he would have turned it on them using oaths of office and "In God we Trust" to say their denial of Jesus made the court invalid. What the judge should do is say she spoke to his attorney and Jesus told her he pleads guilty.

Either way court should send him into a mental institution for a few days for an evaluation, that would be a win-win (for the court). If he's pulling a stunt maybe 10 days in a mental institution AND a penalty fee for sucha behavior, including ALL the extra cost of he's attempt to "cheat the system" will draw a line for him and others who think they are "way too smart". Now if he IS hearing voices well then the court will had done a great favor to him, he's family and society by providing the help he needs before this gets out of hand. As I said a win-win. Hey Mike, question, when I saw him take a drink it reminded me that Judge Middleton who is so mild mannered has a serious issue with people drinking during zoom court. He really gets hot under the collar. Are you not allowed drinks in court? What if you have serious dry mouth and could not question a witness without water? I have seen people on court on TV with water while testifying. Any idea why taking a sip of a drink during zoom court would bother an otherwise mild mannered Judge?

He expects people to behave respectfully as if they were physically in court. One fellow wasn't wearing a shirt, but he was in jail and the jail didn't give him one! Judge Middleton spoke with someone at the jail and suggested in future they have some extra clothes. ;)

As a Christian myself, I appreciate your take on this. So many youtubers who produce this type of content roll any religion at all into the mockery. However, you are correct--these people are either purposely misinterpreting religion in an attempt to derail proceedings or are sadly misguided themselves and cherry-pick both the letter and often spirit of the scriptures to align to their delusions.

His whole premise isnt even internally consistent with Christian thought anyway. Jesus' position was that secular laws still applied to Christians and that he would not interfere. That's what "render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's" meant; pay your taxes and follow the law.

This is the second time I've seen this and I'm pretty sure this is a social experiment. I think they should take him in on a psych evaluation and let him out when his lawyer contacts the courthouse. I believe that's well within the judges power and it would force him to admit he's toying with the court.

@@Gamer88334 I'm not seeing it, he's too far off script for a SovCit. I know there's the underlying "only God can judge me"being implied, but I really get the sense he's mocking religious freedom. I wouldn't be surprised if he came out later and said he wanted to test the limits of the court and how far they will go to entertain religious beliefs. Or something along those lines. But I don't have any information on him, he could very well be yet another SovCit peddling this notion that crime only exists if there is direct harm to another man.

@@debunkthejunk1 he's only far off script for your average SovCit but don't be fooled there's a fringe minority associated with SovCits that believe this stuff wholeheartedly. My own father in law has very similar beliefs as this guy and I've watched him use a similar strategy at a tribunal hearing and predictably crash and burn it's actually quite sad
