Well, he's no Judge Middleton, that's for sure. But I did like the way he dropped down to the defendant's level and explained exactly what was required of the defendant if he decided to represent himself. He explained in very clear language that a 10 year old could understand exactly what was required of the defendant if he decided to try to defend himself, including all of the correct procedures on submission of evidence and other court approved procedures. I think this is the first time that I have seen a Judge spell it out so simply and completely to a defendant before basically saying, "Do you really think you are qualified to represent yourself?"

@shannonswanson42193 жыл бұрын
They like to say it’s practicing law from the bench. There is case law that allows the judge to enter a plea of not guilty if no plea is entered. But of course, all courts would fall apart if all you had to do was not enter a plea and “poof” the case disappears. It’s just more nonsense to clog up the proceedings. It’s hard to tell who are true believers and who just want to make everything so convoluted to make the court settle. I’ve never seen a Sov Cit argument work on its merit but I wonder if just the hassle in traffic court might sometimes cause a positive settlement just to be finished.
@muskokamike1272 жыл бұрын
@@shannonswanson4219 I have yet to see one settle simply because the sovcit is such a pain in the arse. To be honest, what should happen when one of them refuses to enter a pleas is they are held in jail until they do. That means they could be there for 20 years......

No FREEDOM OF SPEECH In AMERIKA Apparently, KZbin is labeling auditors as "Sovereign Citizens" now. The government sees the Sovereign citizen movement is a terrorist organization. Therefore, labeling auditors who try to hold cops accountable in the light, as a terrorist organization... I hope they get their ass sued. This document is an archived copy of an older ADL report and may not reflect the most current facts or developments related to its subject matter. The "sovereign citizen" movement is a loosely organized collection of groups and individuals who have adopted a right-wing anarchist ideology originating in the theories of a group called the Posse Comitatus in the 1970s. Its adherents believe that virtually all existing government in the United States is illegitimate and they seek to "restore" an idealized, minimalist government that never actually existed. To this end, sovereign citizens wage war against ADL Trains Nearly 200 NJ Law Enforcement and Government Employees on Sovereign Citizen Extremism October 16, 2018 On October 11, ADL, the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office came together to present “The Resurgence of the Sovereign Citizen.” ADL Trains Federal Judges about Sovereign Citizen Movement www.adl.org/resources/backgrounders/sovereign-citizen-movement?fbclid=IwAR3aP71140K9oZfIqS_5fwLlGI6UKtR6i_1Uw4EnLVTfx68VaaBOjQR_txY kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZiphq19lLl5nZo philadelphia.adl.org/njsovereigncitizenstraining/?fbclid=IwAR1uhM9015t7vrs22wUjJ3640iJc6ive45P6_JPbGZ45VdbmYM4swoEWzns#:~:text=ADL%20Trains%20Nearly%20200%20NJ%20Law%20Enforcement%20and,to%20present%20%E2%80%9CThe%20Resurgence%20of%20the%20Sovereign%20Citizen.%E2%80%9D la.adl.org/adl-trains-federal-judges-about-sovereign-citizen-movement/?fbclid=IwAR2nGilnJjWS35DJsiw4S84MOlx-8vmHlHsKZ3E9a7xqKeRRM0qBwchEZiw

Every time I hear one of these bufoons spout admiralty/maritime law, I desperately want to hear the judge ask "how many hours do you drive on the ocean? Just ballpark."

Per the Constitution, "We the people" are the gov't. The gov't is by definition rule of law.

Looks like he's in the right place, don't think he'll be leaving any time soon. My law trumps your law, then why you sitting in jail?

They would say... 1.) The person with the biggest stick wins. 2.) They have guns AND they're willing to use them. 3.) If a group of people ran in your house & pulled guns on you, your spouse & children, took you all hostage & locked you all away somewhere, then would that give them jurisdiction over you & your family?
@isaned3 жыл бұрын
@@skitzoblanco3036 they would be wrong. Just because someone is threatening you doesn't make them right. If the hostage takers gave me a cop to help defend myself and took the time to listen to my argument as to why they are not allowed in my house, then it would be correct, but no.

Someone might want to give this judge a smidgeon of friendly advice: to go easy on throwing the term "break-out" when referring to a fella who is IN JAIL!

Mike, I love your videos! I saw one the other day on someone else’s channel that is the funniest I believe that I have ever seen. I don’t know how to send you a link to it or else I would. It involves a sovereign citizen explaining why he doesn’t have to pay his rent. I died! Really. This is a dead person making this comment. 😂

This guy makes Dale Gribble look like America's greatest patriot. Like Dale Gribble, I bet this guy has a standing order for alien urine. He probably also has an ad in Soldier of Fortune magazine and is the president of his local hillbilly gun club.

James Daly doesn't exactly exude an air of confidence does he ? I'm guessing his retirement plans are going to be brought forward considerably after this case. Stay safe & keep on smiling 👍🦘
