My son bought his first truck and didn't know the tint was illegal. He showed the officer respect, he was 16, and he was shown the same. Officer said when he was a kid, he liked his truck like that, too, but it's his job to enforce the law. In CA, have the darkest tint you want on the back and rear, just not on the front and windshield. He let him off with a warning, get it fixed or the next time he'd write him up. Being respectful goes a long way.

At the 8 minute Mark the cop admits the reason he stopped the guy was because the driver extended his middle finger to the police officers while they were on a traffic stop. It wasn't because of the window tint. It was because the officer has a very weak little pansy ego. He knows that flipping a police officer is a first amendment protected activity. And so the weak eagle police officer followed him along after leaving the person that they had stopped initially. And his little ego, his tiny penis just got himself into a federal court. Because at the 8-minute Mark he admits openly that he stopped the guy not for the tent so much but because the guy extended his middle finger to the police officer who was in the middle of a stop that, the frail ego'd "ENFORCER"/SS abandoned to deal with someone who has been dissatisfied with the police and this type of behavior from the police. The man has every right for a redress of grievances to government subservient's to the people. 😂😂😂 There's one Whopper of a federal case that can be built just off of that one statement by the "ENFORCER"/KGB.

Living in a state like Florida where the summer sun is wicked, tint can be very helpful when your vehicle is parked in a parking lot all day at work. Keeps it a little cooler and helps protect the interior over time. Of course it's best to stay within the legal limit with the strength... 😆

The Back windows can be darker than the front windows as I drive a newer jeep grand Cherokee and when I bought it the back windows are extremely dark but my front windows are not as tinted just like the police officers windows 🇺🇲

SOOOO true!! Behaviorally and psychologically, it's harder to back down on your position once you've declared it publically. This driver is a great example of this fact. The driver doesn't want to 'lose face.' It takes courage to admit you're wrong, especially in these circumstances (the driver recording everything, all the cops there who represent authority figures, the desire to impress his girlfriend, etc.). I watched one where the Sovcit made them break the window, the guy was arrested, and the car was towed. After the guy got out of jail he was caught breaking into the impoundment lot and was arrested for that. In court he acted up and was jailed for contempt. He also lost his case. He sued everyone involved and that case was thrown out. Another fairytale come true.

Tint meters slide over the top of the window. It has to straddle the window for a reading. If he refuses to hand over the keys, they can’t roll the window down 6” for a reading.
