This video is a follow up to my last Bible study video on reaping what we sow in abundance! But, how can we actually sow patience in our seasons of suffering? God has been reminding me of Romans 12:2!

Romans 12:2 is no accident. The battle starts with the mind, which must be trained. In the garden Satan went after Eve's mind, got her to think differently; the rest is unfortunate history. Seeing things from God's perspective changed my ability to handle the stuff that life throws at me. And to remember the Source of my strength. We could throw in Philippians 4:8 and 13 also.

This is so true! I began bringing my sadness, my anger, my joys to God through prayer, and now it's a knee jerk reaction. Like a best friend who you can't wait to tell them what has happened. Because God IS truly there for us in both good and bad times. And now I can step back during the bad times and understand what He is teaching me when before it wasn't so much the case and dwelling on bad times as "What did I do to deserve this?" God is in every detail of our lives. Just have faith you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you . There are people of my age who wrote their exams and didn't get the result they wanted . Don't ever call yourselves a failure you're blessed and chosen . God has plans for us plans to prosper and not harm us . I have also learnt that whenever u write Ur exams before and after to always pray . The devil is very cunning that during the exam you suddenly forget wat u read . But ur lyf is in God's hands the devil won't have the right upon ur education and lyf . I did that to myself and through all those trials the result was surprisingly good and more than I expected. God can do that for everyone either school or anything . Thank you for the message ❤

Thank you! I relate to this a lot in my life because I always put myself down whenever I make a mistake. I always confess God first of what I did wrong but I never acknowledge what God has protected me throughout my days! Renewing my mind helps to find God in places where I feel unconfident in. Tysm I really really needed this ❤ I have been going through a trial as well, and I’ve been overthinking it so much.. Praying for guidance and healing 🙏🏼 Okay, so, I don’t think I fully realized how much I needed to hear this message when I listened to it lol But the thing you said about biblical affirmations, and how God didn’t just leave us to fend for ourselves, He gave us the sword! That was definitely something I needed to be reminded of, cause I feel like I’m really close to a breakthrough. I think the enemy has been trying to get my mind off God and onto other things so that I panic, (like Peter in Matthew 14 28-31) but I’m not gonna let him. I have the word of God! (the sword) and no weapon formed against me shall prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)

Hi Rebecca, thank you for your reply and sharing about your sensitivity too! I am just learning to work with it. What helped me so far, the last time I felt a difficult energy come upon me, is I reminded myself I was not a target, but was bearing a burden and I could bring it to jesus and it lifted quickly that time. But I tried to change my attitude and perception and praise and thank God for it. Instead of getting into distress at the unpleasantness of the experience. It will bring us closer to jesus in the end. And that helps me to remember that too. It's truly a gift, not the curse it can be mistaken for. Hi Rebecca, i hope my words to deal with burden bearing was too simplistic and maybe more is needed in how to deal with it. I found your video sharing biblical affirmations helpful. How do you deal with it when you have picked up too much energy? I had an experience today where I was on the phone with a friend and afterwards I found that I felt way off. Hi Ruth! This is such a great question. To be honest I’m still trying to figure out what works for me..but no matter what, I find prayer helps…Just talking to God instead of ranting to a friend or bottling it inside. He usually gives me peace beyond understanding ❤ feels like a cheat code to life is just spending time with God, honestly-in prayer, worship, meditating on His word, etc.. Thank you so much for your encouragement and for enjoying my videos! I will definitely add this to my video list!! I think knowing, and I mean really KNOWING, that God is FOR me really changed my outlook on everything. When hardships came, I stopped asking “why is this happening to me? Why me?” But I started to ask “God, what is it that you are trying to teach me?” That’s when I saw rejection as God redirecting me and protecting me, especially when I didn’t get something I really wanted and thought was for me. In retrospect, I actually thank God so much for failures and failed relationships because I’m pretty sure they would’ve destroyed me! I also think that God gives me so much unearned, undeserved favor…with Himself and with man…when I’m walking in my purpose of what He has for me. All of these things just confirmed that God loves me and He’s for me. When I believe what God says because I believe in who He is, I think all the doubts fade easily. I hope this answers your question a little but I can try to address this more in the future ❤ blessings! He loves you and He is for you!

Hi Ashley! This makes me soo happy. ♡ I'm sorry for getting back to you so late. I'm so impressed that you read 1 and 2 Samuel already! I think I would recommend you reading Genesis for many of the iconic stories (creation, the flood, Abraham, Joseph, etc.)! and Romans for a really thorough explanation of our faith. But, any of the books would be wonderful! I know that the Holy Spirit will help you understand them or send you resources to help you understand them. @@rebeccaly ,Amen, The body of Christ knows that this human life in the sinful flesh is temporary,and not even a drop in the bucket compared to forever,we have something so amazing awaiting us that our humans minds can’t comprehend it .Everything is all about Jesus Christ’s Shed Blood as payment for all of our sins forever and if we have Faith/Trust in it. ❤️

Hi! I'm a new believer and have really adored and appreciated your videos! I do have a question, "I live by faith not by sight or feelings" what translation is the "or feelings" part from? @11:31 I only know it as "I live by faith not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7) Thank you, God bless ❤

I don't know which version that is from specifically...I think it's just an addendum! The regular verse is live by faith, not by sight. We know that our feelings are fleeting and can lie to us...lots of verses about that (www.crosswalk.com/faith/spiritual-life/faith-over-feelings.html) I'm proud of you for being so curious and wanting to know more.
