Animals are usually fed with soybean hulls which are inedible to humans and are a byproduct of human-edible soybeans. What would you do with them otherwise?
@jmchdjaimerporkpuedolol36813 жыл бұрын
Balance is key, its about reducing meat consumption and thus excessive soy plantations, not outrightly getting rid of everything. We would still feed those unedible byproducts to cattle ofc
@apollomars16782 жыл бұрын
@@jmchdjaimerporkpuedolol3681 how about simply banning the use of these specific used plantages cash crops or to bann the inport of these product, to thereby force the meat industry to switch to a higher quality of food for animals in europa and thereby less, but better meat production in europa? we feed animals soya, because it is cheap, it is cheap, because it is a rare crop plant, who can give a lot of products on rainforest-soil, next to bananas and palm fat. it is cheap, because brazil corperations are using cheap semi-slave workers on these plantages. on a sidenote, WE eat the bananas, 100% of them. on a differetn sidenote, explicit in the USA, but indirect we in europa exchanged animal fats with plant fats, like rainforest-destroying palm fat. IF we would actual produce meat for quality and not for quantity, we would have to raise and keep these animals alive for years longer. (making their lives more ethical correct). we dont like to do that, because pigs are killed after their adolescence. animals (like humans often too) generate more fat and less muscle mass after their growth. By exchanging animal fat with plant fat, we killed pigs faster, need to feed them for every KG more food, can treat them worse AND hide the fact, that we throw more food into the trash, because we dont give our food waste to pigs. pigs can live for 10 years, eat our waste, produce kgs of fat and can be killed at this time.....we kill them after 1/2 year and grill their meat with plant fats and wonder us about bad CO2 numbers. but try to explain, that people shouldnt stop eating meat and should start demand animal fats in their products, to force the meat producers to generate more fat by keeping animals longer alive. imagine we would ban to import or use for animal food actual non-productive plant-foods like advocados or bananas or soy-flour, while secure a longer livetime for livestock. For some reason you will find zero vegans or vegetarians supporting THIS agenda.

The reality is, people eat way more meat than they need, and could easily supplement their diet with non-meat, cut down on meat consumption substantially, without ever being even remotely vegetarian or vegan. But instead, people have meat 3 times a day, 7 days a week.

@@lloydirving6209 they have gotten too absorbed into politics and lost their original meaning. Most of their points are valid and they serve a necessary role in society (being the guys keeping an eye in the activities of big corporations) but some of their points are purely bs (they are totally against nuclear because Chernobyl goes brrrrrrr) and their highest spheres are as driven by money as anything. TL;DR: The people volunteering for GP are good, the people leading GP are not.

green Peace, the organization that opposed chlorine in water, a basic element that is extracted easily from salt and has saved countless lives, why do I feel the urge to resist the gell-man amnesia effect and question the validity of the information? Presentation and cinematography is top notch by the way, a shame it's a propaganda piece.

This is false. True because of how badly we manage doing said Feed. Yet False that it has to be that way to manage feeding animals. You can blame your Government... Self Sustaining farm structures can be done easily in 1 acre, 2 acres if you want comfort.
