Space Engineers - Big Little Drill Extension (Hard Survival)

Our mining drill hit it's max so we must add an extension. This could be tricky and risky with no jetpack.
I'm playing Space Engineers with permadeath turned on, no jet pack, no auto heal, and no 3rd person view. We're using daily needs survival kit...on Pertam, it's super dark, we don't have a survival kit or medical room, and the risk of failure is very high.

Superb stuff chap, probably good to label the turrets and doors so you can identify them. Drill Turret, Greenhouse Turret A/B, Hangar Turret, CherryPicker Turret A/B etc, same for doors. The bistro label was brilliant, "Spider Legs" is missing from the menu - then again those spiders are larger than frogs. Looking forwards to the next one chap 👍

And no need to worry about the decompression; you're still planetside, so it's nothing a couple seconds of power draw won't fix. If it were in space, though, on limited O2, that might've become an issue.

Well now that's why I'm trying to get into good habits now, while learning is still fun and relatively safe - because you just know I'm gonna open a double airlock in space.... And spiders are most definitely not my friends. 😂

Spider probably spawned inside. It is airtight, after all. It wouldn't have deprssurized when you opened the door otherwise. That's why you have interior turrets. The game doesnt know there is an "inside". It only knows if there is a block or not. I.ie a wall.

Certainly did spawn inside, but my understanding is the spawn rules prohibit spiders spawning in spaces occupied by a block - and ‘inside’ has floors which spiders should not be able to spawn on without spawning in the air. I could be wrong.
