I don't play SE often, but when I did, I made a modular garage with several pistons going into the ground to raise us for a 90deg connection for my rovers. It took a bit of finangaling for the top to fit flush, but it might be worth doing for your Welder. Plus it was interesting to need to go downstairs into the piston room, so I made it look like an engineering bay. Might be fun to do. For the extra bays, you might have fun to make some drones that scamble for security if you get something too close. Be nice to have a response force.

11:49 I concur with your assessment.. you were throwing A LOT OF LEAD down range and not really doing a ton of damage to the target. You WERE scoring hits but they amounted to little more than superficial damage.

Awesome series! I cant wait for the next episode. Previously, I setup my hangars so the fighters have a "quick deploy" placement... towards the mouth facing out. With the size of your fighter, you could position two next to each other with a space in-between facing out. Another idea to replace the conveyor tube going longways is to put one on each bottom side behind your hangar walls. This would allow you to tie in the ship bays from underneath the floor and continue the tubes out and have a connector outside for larger ships/quick access.

There is residual oxygen that you cockpit fills up with if it is plumbed/open in in a atmosphere until that residual oxygen gets depleted.

For that ship that has the connector in the back. You could add a Hinge to the pston hidden in the floor and add a conector to that hinge - it would loook nice. Or just add a hinge or a "L" shaped" conveytor..

Could the pistons in the bays extend and retract to tether the ship higher? You could keep the ships tethered higher and have a walkway to see underneath to make repairs. 🎅🎅🎅
