I love the '09 version too, but these are superior in my opinion. Superior patent leather cut, shape and superior quality, but i'm an OG head too and I remember what the OG's we're like. People also have to understand that they're basically 2 versions of the Space Jams, the ones with the #23 on the back and the these the PE version MJ wore against Orlando in the '95 playoffs.

Agree with what you're saying 100%. I think the more moderate cut of the patent leather on the modern 11s serves the overall aesthetic of the shoe better. I KNOW the higher cut is "OG"... but that doesn't necessarily make it BETTER. To me, the higher cut makes the shoe look bulkier. Looks less sleek & elegant like this.

Had to cop the Box Logo hoodie so I couldn't cop the SJ (Minimum wage problems), not tripping cause they'll restock a billion times, 72-10's was still restocking up until the fall season, I think they finally got rid of em all lol.
