Just a suggestion for anybody. If you're on PC, change your melee keybind to left-click and fire/gun strike to right-click. It just feels a whole lot better.

Yes, you can change the keybinds for PC so it plays better. The keybinds/layout/GAME are clearly set up for CONTROLLER.

I put both the block/parry and mellee attacks on my side mouse buttons lol. Did the same thing in Darktide for my Psyker abilities

Does this mean I would use upgrade points on weapons I would not want to use? Going the xp route by using it would be more fun with a weapon I actually enjoy using. Right? Edit: No that's wrong, upgrading does not seem to fill the XP bar for mastery.. bummer

yup you can 100% do that, I like to use them on weapons I use IF IM TRYING to get the mastery points fast

You do know that you can spend relic material to upgrade all lower tiers right? So just farm ruthless more xp, and more common with mini bosses for 2 armory data per run

@@Crazymrpipz I see that I could have come off as a bit arrogant, my bad. But for anyone new out there, if you have friends to play with- the higher difficulties are not that bad. It’s more enemies and they have a bit more hp. But if you play together and take it slow clearing trough each area you will find the difficulty curve honestly doesn’t scale up as much as similarly type games. And as you level up and unlock new / more / better class perks in a sense your character scale up almost as much as the enemies. And if you do the first mission, you can use the traps to clear around half of each wave that comes. Just remember you can only activate one location at a time to be ready to use. So don’t activate it until you see what side they are comming from. Last stage is mostly melee- and mid section you have to defend. In both places melts weapons preform amazing

Late question but, i have been using the plasma rifle on tactical and have all the exp maxed at green level but it won't let me unlock purple even though i have the material for it. What gives?

I can't connect to public servers. I have to play offline. I don't even know how to fix it. It's called: Connection to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 services was lost. You can play offline or try to connect to online services again on the title screen. (Error Code:14) Do you know how to fix this problem?

I have to exit to the main menu after each play through unless I play with the same ppl. That’s the only way for me to find anyone to play with because of the servers.

Its under the appearance tab. Click "f" on the weapon's page and click on dlc for the appearance. Btw there are only 3 skins, for the starter bolt rifle, chainsword, and heavy bolter for heavy

Having to do the harder difficulties to get the currency to buy the weapons for the harder difficulties is one of the most assinine game designs I've ever seen.

ur right... its really crazy that making weapons strong and farming the needed materials is a part of a progression system... honestly we should just send them a email asking for mats and get it instantly and if we dont... REFUND ASAP

@@Crazymrpipz What a stupid, over the top response. The point is that in most games like this you can get better gear or other kinds of upgrades before taking on higher difficulties. In this you have to take on higher difficulties with crap gear to get the gear for that difficulty. I'm not saying it's not doable, but it is rather punishing for most players.

@@gabriel.a2845 Yeah. I mean I've gotten better at the game and can beat ruthless with a decent build, but I still think only being able to get the top tier materials from rurhless is odd. It's a very punishing design decision, and a lot of casual players are just going to bounce right off operations because of it in my opinion. I mean I don't know if you play Helldivers 2 or not, but if you do imagine only being able to get super samples on Helldive or Super Helldive. That would leave a lot of people out in the cold when it comes to high level ship modules.

You have to do substantial difficulty, find an armor item thingy and carry it all the way to the end. One person has to do this and all three get the artifice thingy. One is available in each operation. It's the same fo relic, but you have to do the hardest difficulty.
