The power of Psykers is demonstrated in the high level of strength amongst Librarians. Like most Astartes, their abilities are amplified and that being said, there are quite a few examples of Librarians even keeping from bleeding out due to psychic restraint of blood loss.

Yeah....ironically enough, they're a race of beastmen that gain traits depending on which chaos god they serve. Tzangors (Tzeench) - skin gains a blue hue and they gain beaks as well as other avian features while becoming relatively decent sorcerers. Slangors (Slaanesh) - purplish hue to the skin, more feral in appearance, hooves are replaced by clawed feet, and they gain a multitude of different "gifts" ranging from one or two deamonette claws all the way to the occasional set of wings. They also tend to become more predatory, in that their reflexes and agility increases. Nangors/Nuangors (Nurgle) - to my knowledge, hasn't received any representation, but can be assumed that they take on a sickly green or brown hue and probably become more durable or able to spread infections such as the Poxwalker Plague. Personally, I would hate to face these ones the most because they'd probably be about as agile as they're depicted in this scene, but with somewhere around 3x the durability. Khangors/Khoangors (Khorne) - like the Nurgle devoted ones, I don't think they've received any representation yet. Same trend as the others, but potentially becoming more disciplined and coordinated? Any sorcerous capability they had would be snuffed out by the brass gear they're given (it's a Khorne thing), but they'd likely become more skillful in melee as a direct result

@@dirtyblonde1011 Pestigors and Khorngors got both oldhammer and middlehammer models in Warhammer Fantasy Battle. The Khorngors kinda just looked like Bestigors (elite Gors) but the Pestigors were very nice indeed. Hopefully they'll be revisited for AoS (and then ported to 40K) sometime soon, as the skirmish format would definitely improve the modelling potential for the Khorngors in particular, compared to the limitations of rank-and-flank models that need to fit together in a square block.
