Haar isnt a Thunder Warrior , hes a prodct of the Alpha draw process for the Worldeaters legion. The Alpha Draw was where they would make a small number (like 5-10) and mastercraft them instead of mass producing them, this allowed them to be tested and examined for flaws, effectively prototypes begore mass production. This is also part of the secret of the Alpha Legionthey were just steady mastercrafting marines while working as the Emperor's secret police until their other primarch was found and they began mass production.

I think the best place for a surviving thunder warriors would be to join alpha lgeion because it's so easy to get a cosmetic surgery and just say i am alpharius. I still like the idea that the thunder warriors were the first sacrifice needed to make the legion of the damned and that all space marines that die become legion of the damned waiting to get back in the fight that never ends just like valhala.

How they are created, Training, dealt with the Unification Wars, if they came across DAoT Tech or enemies armed with said tech, or What they thought of the Men of Iron?... Could they be better or worse for the current day 40K if they just "Warpped" in from the past? How would they fare against Chaos/Orks/Nids... ect.? I can not help but see a similar chord of mystery, sarrow, and bittersweet irony of a surviving Thunder Warrior and / or a Men of Iron like UR-025, being so similar in nature. Last of their kind, hidden in "plain sight," fighting for but another day; to survive.

Not going to lie I would love if either fabius bile or cawl found how to make thunder warriors and make them less unstable both genetically and psychologically and with bile that's the way he could upgrade his new men so to speak into a legion himself because if the thunder warriors from back then could deal with custodes just imagine what they could do with better bodies and minds like in a way it would be the equivalent of making even better versions of the primaris Marines and the chaos legions in warbands would be indifferent on combining a previous near perfect soldier for the forces of chaos based on another product of The emperor's brilliance because that's something we know about certain chaos factions is that they were against the idea of someone creating a new type of marine bastardizing the emperor's great work that made the monsters that they are so of course some would be upset about it but others would welcome that they have troops that are able to beat the new bastards so to speak. Because I know that the iron warriors have a process to create new Marines without Gene seed and they could even adopt the process themselves
