I don't get it. Why do people hate it so much that SpaceHamster is almost like PBG. I mean, yeah I also agree but personally for me, that's kinda like the reason why I love Watching SpaceHamster's videos. My most favourite game reviewer is PBG becuase watching his videos always make me laugh. The way he reviews games are hilarious. Same like SpaceHamster here, I love his videos cause he got the same kinda way of editing the videos to make them funny just like PBG. Guys cut him some slack! I really enjoy his videos, if they have a PBG/JonTron vibe that's ok it's just his style and it happens to be like some other popular you tubers. Not to mention the fact that his is actually close friends with PBG. I've played this game way back and it's really fun in multiplayer. Me and my buddies had one rule though. No Lobsterphants, Elephant head and legs with lobster body is the most unstoppable thing you can make in the vanilla game.

It's actually very innovative for an rts. Your given 76 base units, whose abilities and stats you can freely mix and match to create the perfect unit! Want anti-air with a ground based stun? Want a flying creature with the capabilities of a marine? If only it weren't for the crap ass campaign and the horrible marketing conveyance this game would have more then become a classic.

I personally had fun with this game, not to mention it had that 'one extra step' in an RTS, which is customizing your own troops, not with just guns and armor, but actually how they are, move, look, react, and so on. It was straightforward, and sometimes irritating (like in any RTS game if you're not smart in your building of an army), and simple, along with a sort of 'easter egg' feel when you went out of your way to tag wild animals to add to your arsenal which is entirely optional (though supremely useful). I say, try it out, play this game. Sure, it's corny (I mean seriously, flying helicopter trains?) and based on a past time period (thus the coal and trains), but it's fun. Sometimes the situations are funny, but also very serious (especially towards the end but I won't spoil anything). If you can shove aside the silliness, you should have a blast. That, and a computer that isn't too new for it, or you are sadly out of luck.
