There's a terminal in Jacobstown that tells you the rebels went down to Searchlight. They breezed past it though and ended up at the husbandry farm. No clue where the part of their group that split off went from there, notes are inconclusive.

i'll always remember the first time I went to boulder city in dust. I was still a new character lvl 3 at most and with barely anything I only went to boulder city to loot the duffle bag at the train station and ran into one of the ghost people. I didn't know about the ghost hunter perk so i just went in to handle it with my machete, got it on the ground but couldn't seem to take any of its limbs off, so i knocked it on the ground again pulled out my deagle and put 3 (of like the 7 i had) rounds into its head.. yet it still got up at that point I knew something was wrong and fled through the train station only to see 6 more crawl out of the ruins tho my retelling prolly doesnt do it justice moments like that are what made me fall in love with Dust, horror not by cheap jump scares but building dread and tense encounters

I love how the storyteller interpreted the Kings as a religious group with Elvis as their God's. Honestly, makes sense given their uniform and choice of speech

i have no idea what fallout dust is but i'm watching this lore series and loving it regardless as the story and the way that it is told are immaculate. the verbiage and phrasing used lend impeccably to the weary, cynical tone of the narrator, the visuals are incredible and illustrate the story remarkably well, and each dreadful event that the narrator recounts has me hooked - your efforts and talent are divine and i can't wait to check out more!!

Have only just discovered the mod existed. Watched another lore vid and one playthrough before this. So where is House and his securitrons in all of it, and how come the NCR shoot you on site of they see you. The NCR In Dust have turned into the Enclave more or less?

@@colddaze6680 Briefly read the wiki, and presumably all securitrons, except Victor, got wiped out by the NCR invasion. After being left behind, remnant soldiers simply don't trust any wastelander and shoot on sight. Still don't make sense but that how it be.

I wonder what the thought of for the Courier was in this time, how his relation to Freeside was, if he had come would they have been happy to have him back at their side, would he have been able to turn the tide of the battle in favor of the rebels, and damaged as it was, even with the storm coming, secured and independent Vegas against the NCR and the incoming tunneler invasion. Bright lights of Vegas may have been the only thing that would have driven them away like the Trogs of the Pit, Vegas could have been an oasis once more, alas, it's nothing but a death trap now.

Something I feel like isn't addressed by fallout dust is the securitron army that Mr house had. In dust did the courier blow up the securitron factory? How did the NCR take over the strip so easily?

The Courier killed House before and destroyed the Weather Facility I'm pretty sure. And there are only a Finite amount of Securitrons in Vegas itself

It’s assumed (I believe) that the courier destroyed the army in the Fort but betrayed the NCR and tried to make an independent new Vegas. The securitrons weren’t numerous outside of the fort, so it’s safe to assume the NCR took out the securitrons when they annexed the region and branded the courier a terrorist in the Dust universe

​@@TheLtPunk1 that still makes no sense to me. Why would the courier destroy the Securitron army if he planned to fight the NCR for control of Vegas? It's literally his best weapon against the NCR.

@@sweetschmeat7417 Either mod author fell in love with the idea of NCR-annexed Vegas, pulled an D&D and kinda forgot about the Securitron army or the Courier was brain dead enough to destroy it himself and then betray the NCR. None of those satisfy me, so my canon is the Courier initially supported the NCR (which would explain the Securitron problem). He was then convinced by Ulysses that, yes, the Legion is big bad, but the NCR is sucky too and independent Vegas is the way to go. Nuked both Dry Wells (cause fuck them) and the I-15, fought along NCR with those the Courier had already conviced to help their cause and drove the Legion off Hoover Dam, and then forced them to leave with the help of the few hundred Securitrons that remained. Then DUST NCR happens.
