This was the perfect video to get me to light the forge at 10°.Had almost the same piece of iron waiting.Appreciate all the time and effort you do making videos gives me the motivation to get out to my forge and make something.

Love the hook of the week, as well as the rest of your videos, but hook series is quick and simple. My eleven-year-old and I always watch them together. However that off center hole in the spade is nagging at my OCD lol

I'd love to see a hook in the shape of a finger... Possibly a whole hand, but I know that'd take a long time to smith. Great work as always!

3/4" black pipe and a 1/2" pin. But I have several in different sizes

I use paste wax most of the time, something like Johnsons paste wax

and i got a tip for you! when you get to the forging parts, every hit blocks out every word you say, so wait for a second or two when you want to say something, cheers!

Since the sound at that point wasn’t coming from my regular mic it was a unique situation. With the lav mic its not an issue.
