So I was also leaving things on in the kitchen 😅 Won't help in the Sorted kitchen, but I think at one point Barry mentioned it becoming an issue at home and I actually have a solution I use! I turn on either my oven light or hood light whenever I turn on a hob/oven, and I don't turn it off until I'm done and have checked everything is off. If I accidentally leave a something on, I'll at least notice the light later... It works 🤷🏼‍♀️

“Dumb it down for the the next person!” I got so anxious when James decided to not put the pasta on the table for Barry. It could have saved Barry a bit time and he acted more confidently once he ‘decided’ it was going to be spag bol. I think Mike needs to give himself more credit in this video. Instead of just leaving it just as a spag bol, he added another component to the meal by helping turn the garlic bread into bruschetta and Ben clicked straight away with the blanched tomatoes. Great teamwork in this one, keep up the great videos!

I don´t understand why James didn't blend the root veg and got the minced meat and onion frying for 8min and threw it all together to simmer away for as long as possible. I mean doing the soffritto is proper but every additional minute of overall simmering time is more important with such a time limit.

Recently I had an epiphany and, as a recently emancipated young adult, grew tired of eating the same junk every week, so I decided to download the Packs app and check how things work. First: you have trials packs available! Why have you never said so? I tried one of them last week and fell in love with the process, then I subscribed to the club to get a pack for this week. Some ingredients are hard to find in Spain, but I've been chugging along with some similar elements instead. To be fair - James really left it as a guessing game... and Barry guessed right. Then he put the spaghetti off to the side to make it explicit for Jamie and Mike, added in the meats and wine, and then set up the garlic bread. So I think he did quite a bit. James set the ingredients up, Barry started them cooking, Jamie did the garlic bread, Mike started the pasta and added to the garlic bread, and Ben brought everything together. They all contributed in this one, I feel.

Like @CircleTheSkies said. This is a pass because no one tried up anyone, they just estimated and guessed what was needed for the dish. Good teamwork. Even Mike should put a 7 or 8. Not trying to push and stretch and over perform all the time is not a failure. Which is also a lesson for these times we live in right now.
