I live in the neighborhood that adjoins this cemetery (32years) And my uncle Ed is buried their. i well be up their to place flowers on my uncles grave for Christmas . My Dad owned a restaurant in that shopping center in 1957 -58. at the very end you pulled out of when you left. In 1976 i worked for a man named Edsel Vincent at his used car lot and he owned this car lot then it was restored back then and kept in its own building under a car cover. I seen it al the time as he would show everyone. When you came out of the neighborhood and took a left his son still owns a car body shop you passed it as you came to the first on ramp to get on 265 east it was across from the shopping center . i well ask them if they have any photos for you. Keep up the great work friend keep on tightening up.

Billy that main road you get off on before you turn into the Shively Center is called Dixie Hwy it's the same road you came out to at the end of the video just around a bit. It goes from downtown Louisville all the way to Ft. Knox and so on. And wow I never even knew that cemetery was back there. I have been to that Texas Roadhouse, O'Charlies and Bob Evan's hundreds of Times and could have went by and saw Jesse's grave and never knew I was that close. Anyway thanks again for this video and all you do. I'm gonna go pay respects to Jesse in the next few days now that I know where hes at and it's about 15 mins from my house.

That was a really good story about Jesse. You did great Starsky-like research on this one. It's too bad that shopping center hides such a peaceful looking cemetery. Thanx for all you do to not only keep up the memory of Elvis, but for also showing us where he came from. Fascinating stuff. Take care, my brother, and be safe. You may or may not have done videos on Vester (I'll have to go back and look at your entries), but that would be a neat entry into Elvis' history as well. How did Vester and Vernon get along? Seems as if he (Vester) would have had a better job that guardsman at the guard shack. Anyway, thanx again for this fascinating look into Jesse Presley. Take care.
