The most surprising thing is how normal the family was. Except for the money, they did typical domestic things, I took my mom to hair appointments is my Trans Am, dealing with drunks in public places, taking care of my little brother, these things I experienced growing up as well. Loved you video with Billy. That really tells everybody that Elvis and his family was just human beings like all of us. You could hear the love Billy had for his brother Elvis in his voice as he was talking about him. What’s sad is all those people out there that still want to gossip about the bad things that happened. I believe we need to celebrate people in an uplifting way. That’s my opinion, but I’m 72 and was taught to be kind to people and if I couldn’t say something good about them say nothing at all. You’re doing a great job Mr . Spa Man..❤️

Enjoyed this :) My late dad had a 1956 Ford Victoria with the cherry bombs on it he told me that he would scare people in that thing, he raced it up and down Victory Drive in Savannah Georgia. Elvis played that year at the Sports Arena. lol

Thank you Spa Guy. My grandfather is Jesse Richards, the family story is that my moms cousin Sammy Richards met Elvis at around 5:30am at a traffic light around 1956/57and found out that they were cousins, Elvis & his mom lived with Frank Richards when Vernon was in prison/jail, my mom had a Polaroid that Elvis had given Sammy, that photo was stolen by a family member years ago, but I remember holding it. I am proud to be kin to the King of Rock n' Roll!

Spa Guy - This interview just gets more and more amazing as it rolls along. I hope you get a chance to sit with Billy and write down a list of all the Elvis vehicles he can remember. How many Elvis rents the movie house stories have I heard? But never once did I ever think Elvis was seeing movies the house wasn't even running. And Billy picked them up from the Movie Transit Company? Where was this company? Does Billy remember any of the movies he picked up? And a different theater? Plus Elvis tosses a drunk! Great stuff!!! And important, so very important what you are doing to get this Elvis history documented.
