@@flexis4731 Aquí en Colombia hay acentos tan diferentes que tranquilamente podrían ser de países distintos. Por ejemplo, la gente en las montañas del sur occidente del país habla con el mísmo acento andino con que hablan las personas de la sierra ecuatoriana, peruana y boliviana. En cambio los costeños/caribeños hablan parecido a los venezolanos, panameños, dominicanos y demas países caribeños. Cómo viste son 2 acentos totalmente diferentes. Eso pasa porque en la época de la colonia varias regiones se mantuvieron totalmente aisladas unas de otras y desarrollaron costumbres diferentes. Una cosa es la gente que vive en los pueblos del centro del país a casi 3000 msnm (clima frío, montañas, páramo) y otra cosa muy distinta es la gente que vive en la costa (mar, playa, fiesta). Solo hasta mediados del siglo pasado las distintas regiones comenzaron a comunicarse las unas con las otras.

In Spain exists both "farmacia" and "droguería", but they are different kind of business. "Farmacia" is the place where medicines are sold. Also "botica" (not "potica" like they wrote in the video) is an old word which means basically the same. "Droguería" is a kind of store where they sell many things, like shampoo, hair dye, all kinds of beauty products usually for women, cleaning products like bleach, ammonia, etc... almost anything apart from food or drinks, I guess. Today, you can buy everything in supermarkets, so there are less and less "droguerías", (and less little "neighborhood shops" in general).

Well, I’m from the north of Colombia and we say Farmacia instead of Droguería but in a Droguería you can find medicine, cosmetics, condoms, diapers, paper toilet, etc…you can even get ice cream in a Droguería here in Colombia. I knew the word botica, in my region there is a famous drug store named La Botica.

In regards to the "güera/guera" thing. As Spanish speakers we have the umlaut/dieresis(the 2 periods on top of a word, for us is witht he letter "u" only on certain words), but, across all Hispanic countries it has been "lost" in a way, less and less people use it with time. They used to teach it in primary schools, basic stuff along with your ABCs. I don't know if they still do, but i remember it being thought still in the 80s/90s/00s. Like in Dominican Republic we have a province called Higüey but for a long time now it's been spelled Higuey. Yes, people know how to read it as it supposed to along with other words, but that is because we are familiar with the pronunciation so when we read certain words we know the meaning already and how to say it out loud. I always make sure to use it. Personally, I say, bring back the "ü".

The reason Colombians call blondes "monos o monas" has to do with a monkey called the Cotton Top Tamarin. It can only be found in NW Colombia. It has very light long hair. Most young Colombians don't even know why or where the term originated anymore.

hope this will help you. 1. you can't say "es" (is) when the pronouns is "yo" (I). "es" it's used when the pronouns are "el" (he) and "ella" (she). so we say "yo soy estudiante" (I am a student). 2. "sago" doesn't exist, maybe you wanted to say "sé", that is the presente indicativo of "saber" (know), so it's "yo se un poco de español" (I know a little bit of Spanish). 3. "Estudio en instituto global". If "instituto global" is the name of the institute then you have to say "Estudio en el instituto global", but if you are saying that you study in an institute without specifying wich one, then you have to use the article "un" (a/an). 4. "Tengo que estudiar a español más". The adverb "más" goes before not after. it's "tengo que estudiar más español". (i have to study more Spanish)

Champú in Argentina is also slang for Champagne. Cerveza is widely called birra but also Chela, polarizado (like a tinted window due the brown color of the bottles), fresca. A monjita would be a 373cc beer bottle. Gaseosa literally means gaseous, comes from bebida gaseosa, gaseous beverage. Referring to all carbonated soft drinks. Soda is only carbonated water. Pimiento is indistinctly used as morrón, and it's the proper name from bell peppers.

In the Philippines we pronounce Guera as Ge-ra like war. And we understand Farmacia more than Drogueria because the latter may mean different. 😅 Back packs are just simply the same, back packs because Maleta here in the Philippines means the big luggage. 😉 Bolsa in the Philippines is like Bulsa or pocket. 🙂 Pacifier in the Philippines is called Chupon. 🙂 Beer is Cerveza in the Philippines. 🙂

No es lo mismo una droguería que una farmacia, en la drogeria se venden productos generalmente de limpieza, químicos, jabones para el hogar. Mientras que la farmacia es donde se encuentran los remedios farmacológicos para acurarte o es el sitio donde tienes que ir cuando el médico te ha recetado algo para curarte.

In 🇨🇷 a blonde person we call them macho (male) mancha (female) -Beer: Birra or una fría -Pharmacy: Farmacia -Soda: Gaseosas -Pepper: Chile (Yeap, like the country name) -Back Bag: Bulto or salveque -Chupeta -Confites. We don't really use dulces or golosinas.

Curioso, curioso. Confite es un genérico también en España, pero no de cualquier cosa dulce, sino para repostería o pastelería. De hecho hay tiendas que son confiterías, que son pastelerías de lujo, con postres exquititos. En España un bulto (aparte de algo hinchado) es un fardo, cualquier equipaje envuelto en una tela a la hora de viajar. El diccionario indica que en Costa Rica, R.Dominicana y Venezuela se usa como bolso escolar, pero en España no. Chupeta se usa en México para un dulce plano de caramelo que se chupa: en España a eso le decimos piruleta.
