There's not much that I can say that hasn't already been said by other commenters but I do feel the strong urge to say "Thank you very much!". You guys rock! By far the best way of learning Spanish that sticks in your mind without much effort. How do I know? On Friday I listened to your Podcast 1 on your website and over the weekend every time someone said "I am good" in my head I said "Me alegra". That's just one example! I was not even trying to think Spanish at that time but it just stays with you. So awesome!

really nice explanations, simple, and direct. I live in Spain, and study much on the Internet and with a Spanish teacher, however I find your podcasts perfect, and your description of por and para was second to none...thank you both.

Muchas gracias por los podcasts, que son muy apreciadas. I was grinding to a halt on another academic text based site and you have reinvigorated my interest with your interesting, relevant and very pleasant conversations. Your spanish/english mix and speed of delivery is just right for my current level. Dos personas encantadoras. Encantado de conocerte.

Thank you so much!!!!!!! Love the way you guys teach!! Have been lost on so many vids on youtube with this, finally found people who speak my language!! No pun intended!! : P thank you guys great method, sticks in your head without even writing it down! Btw would "ustedes" be the same as vosotros, as in adding "is," or is it different?

It would be really helpful if the scripts can be overlain on the screen, just like close caption on TV. I have been searching video of this kind. What I found was either typing of words on the screen without the presenters in the video or just the presenters' talking without the script.

You both are so helpful thank you so much.... I just have one question I will be going to Colombia In December how much different is the slang. Because I know ever country has its own way of speaking.
@LightSpeedSpanishChannel9 жыл бұрын
Nick Tekula Neither of us know a lot about Colombia. The only thing that seems to be the case is that everyone uses USTED without exception, even between friends and family. I find the accent quite difficult to understand. Buena suerte:)
@MegF1428579 жыл бұрын
Nick Tekula I have been watching a novela tv series made in Columbia on Netflix. It is a show about Pablo Escobar. I noticed that they use "pues" a lot in the language.
@djeeuutoane9 жыл бұрын
I also watch the serie and one thing I noticed is that the speak in the hated form all the time. This might be a regional thing but be prepared they might do it. Pues is just a kind of filler they put in almost every sentence I think haha. Also remember the indicative form for usted is different so try to learn the conjugation.
@dr9167 жыл бұрын
hi thank you for this.. it's very informative.. i have a question though.. don't you use usted / ustedes?
@LightSpeedSpanishChannel7 жыл бұрын
In Spain do you mean or in our Podcasts? In Spain we use usted and ustedes but only in formal situations or with the elderly. :) Cx

I get so stuck on when to use the verb vosotros or ellos. 'You all' and 'they' are really similar.
@audreysmith61135 жыл бұрын
YOU HAVE TROUBLE BECAUSE YOU'RE MIXING UP YOUR PARTS OF SPEECH. VOSOTROS AND ELLOS ARE PRONOUNS THAT DETERMINE THE TENSE OF THE VERB. I, YOU, HE OR SHE (IT), WE, YOU ALL (PLURAL), AND THEY. I HOPE THAT HELPS.
