Hot take on Harry, from an American who attended "public school" (considered private in the US) in England for 3 years. Harry is one of the most privileged people to ever walk the earth. The fact he felt compelled to betray (snitch, grass, etc.) on his family in order to gain entry to the Victim Olympics is farcical and reveals a level of ego not seen since Narcissus gazed lovingly at his reflection in the water. Life is hard for most folks. I agree totally. Best example of this is the night they went to Cirque du Soleil after Megan had convinced Harry she was about to commit suicide. (Yeah, right...). I'm seeing extensive videos from that whole evening and Meghan is smiling and greeting people and projects a very upbeat mood while Harry, who has believed her, look very worried and upset. I just watched the BBC engagement interview today and it appeared clear to me that Harry was very excited about having Meghan with him on his royal engagements and was happy to continue to be a part of the RF. I understand the pov of older siblings having more privileges and the younger ones being resentful. In my culture, even though inheritance and bigger rooms or wherever are the same, parents CODDLE and spoil the younger and especially youngest. Worst yet if the youngest is a boy, my god lol they'll never lift a finger in their life. Older siblings (especially in poorer families) are basically substitute parents from a young age. I would disagree with the idea that Harry does not “see the hurt he is causing others”. I expect that Harry does indeed see the hurt and that is just his reason for all of this. It's definetely her doing because if you look at their history, he never behaved this way before (with other girlfriends, other friends, when taking drugs and partying every other night, etc) while she did. She rhythmically discarded friends, jobs, the narrative of her life (reinventing herself new every time she climbed a step) She also did cut off both sided of her own family...and in the end she reframed Harry's memories, as controlling people would, she isolated him and made him cut off his people, then she let him loose whe he was ready to be the one to take the blame from her (appearing the 'true culprit' there) It's her game! And it's been called out years ago by her family members, they tried to warn the RF and the public. Next steps for her are: make him lose his value, make him 'the toxic one', playing the marthyr while asking for divorce, writing books about all of that in the meanwhile, and come out to the other side as the woman who fought for her love, who's being victimized, who lost th father of her children due to toxic journalism and Harry's mental issues, becoming a single mom with kids still battling for her leftists battles, alone, strong, heroically, slipping into a political carreer.

Watched something once about a documentary that had been made by quondam Prince Charles. The man who'd made the documentary spoke about the prince's overwhelming, extraordinarily admirable sense of duty. That has governed his life (and his mother's) from childhood. Let's not forget Diana's opinion of her own step-mother. Is that a polar bear tie? I love that! I think the public see Charles as someone who has been kicked around his whole life. Someone who had no say in anything, including whom he would marry. He has been mocked and ridiculed, but seems to be a very kind person. I think Harry miscalculated on this. People have the benefit of hindsight when it comes to King Charles III's life. He was growing up in modern times but had to abide by old rules and etiquette. King Charles, in many ways, freed his sons from this and allowed them to be men of their time. Of course Diana contributed to this greatly, but Charles allowed it and continued on that path long after Diana had left us. Charles is more admired than not these days. He is no longer the dork of old.

I think what has come out over the last couple of years, is how much the palace did protect his reputation, there were murmurs of his rudeness to staff, to people. Overall, sadly, I think the palace, over-protected him. Meghan pulled that racist rubbish, she has been known to be abrasive and rude to staff. I think the pair behaved odiously while they were in the RF. I think what has struck me, is how out of touch Harry is with ordinary people, you don't see that with Charles or William.
