Only downside is there is a lot of infantry. In the bronze age, its more known that the powers at the time (forgot their names but resided in Greece, turkey, Egypt and Cyprus primarily) used chariots a lot. Idk if Troy is around that time or afterwards, but I thought that's the setting they were going for hence the myths around the time because of the stark lack of documents compared to what Rome did during their reign of Eroupe, Asia and Africa.

Well, they used chariots a lot, since there was no cavallry yet, but chariots are expensive and thus were reserved for noble warlords, who could afford a horse and a chariot. The main armies were infantry.

I can't tell, so does this have some semblance of matched combat animations? not as good as shogun total war 2, but at least I'm hoping for something basic like in the first rome total war. I'm really put off by the recent total war games where it's just chaotic swinging of weapons. That's not why I checked rome total war in the first place.

This is a good video. I am subscribed to Sandokan Battles and I love all your work. However, I feel the actual base game used to create this, has some problems. The combat in this just looks terrible. I am aware there is no unit collision in the Warscape engine and that creates a lot of problems, but somehow previous videos using Attila and Rome 2 still managed to have a lot of good fights between the soldiers. In this latest video, I didn't see that. Units just flail about randomly, there doesn't seem to be any connection between the soldiers of the two armies. The combat moves in Attila were good - swords would connect with enemy units, and the gore pack allowed for lots of entertaining combat animations. But looking at this, it just looks dreadful. What on earth is that dazzling white light coming out of the back of the chariots when they impact? Are they using nuclear fission? And why are the soldiers jumping about as if this is a mosh pit, instead of a battle? Once again, thank you to Sandokan Battles, I love your channel and your work is amazing. I'm just sharing my concerns about the latest Total War Saga game, which looks problematic based on what I can see from the combat. I hope these issues are fixed before release - Edit, I just realised the game will be released tomorrow. I guess it's too late then, unless this can be patched! XD
