I watch this movie reaction among the reaction crowd a lot just to see how fast they clock Tom Cruise. I'd like to say that when I saw it in theaters I caught on fast. Nope. It wasn't until he was dancing in the credits and his name came up that I realized it. Cruise has an untapped side for humor, and we as an audience for three decades were denied that aspect of his skills. He's quite good at being funny, and aside from his one role momentarily in Austin Powers, we never get to see him in a comedy. Robbed.

Such a shame everyone watches Tropic Thunder before watching Platoon, and don’t get the running scene.
@williamroper54222 ай бұрын
You don't need to see Platoon to get the running scene because it is funny on it's own you just won't get it is a reference.

I watched Tropic Thunder in theaters in my twenties and had Platoon and Apocalypse Now on VHS when I was a teenager!

A lot of the jokes just went over Spartan’s head. It’s okay lol

The fact that you thought black rdj was a totally different actor was fucking hilarious. Also i appreciate you guys unapologetically laughing at everything. Some reactors often are too scared to do so

Pudgy, you completely got this film & it was hilarious! Spartan seems that this film went completely over his head.

Hey Spartan and Pudgey, I'm SO glad you both watched this! ---------- Tom Cruise's best character by far. Him dancing at the end is epic. --------- Gotta give props to Robert Downey Jr. as well. --------- AS a black man I have no problem with equal opportunity laughter. Folks need to get over themselves and give the PC train a rest.
