I think its good to point out that shows like this usually are not done well. They either glorify the gangster life or go over the top on how easy it is to rise and fall. I think the creators found a perfect balance and you can see influences of the Sopranos and some seasons of The Wire (who did it right). Even though this genre might not be for you, I know so many people who fell in love with its story telling and camera work. It truly is a one of a kind show and a masterpiece in my opinion.
@bilkywaygalaxy Жыл бұрын
I honestly think Better Call Saul is the greatest and most realistic example of characters who succumb to evil. The most common kind of evil, everyday evil. Breaking Bad and The Sopranos are about the most ruthless evil and Better Call Saul shows that evil comes in all shades, how easy it is to manipulate the law for evil. The morality of being on the side of the law and the morality of being a criminal have so many parallels. It’s so good

The stack shifted and crushed his arm. If it severed the brachial artery in the upper arm he could bleed out VERY quickly. You know how people commit suicide by cutting their wrists? A severed brachial artery would be a MUCH quicker and surer loss of blood.
@oaktree1628 Жыл бұрын
The guy bled out relatively quickly so the artery was severed. If his arm were just crushed without severing the artery he would still be alive - potentially for several days or even longer, but he died the same night or the night after, hence the artery was severed and he bled out.

What doesn’t make sense is why he had to place his arms there in the first place. I mean, the first dead guy was originally just stuffed under there. Why did the second guy have to place his arms in a position where he had them crushed? He just had to drag the body out by its arms or legs, or by pulling on its clothes.

Oh and you might have figured this out already but it wasn't Hank trying to call Walt while he's with Skyler in the bathrrom. That was Jesse trying to tell him to come out of the house. So I just wanna make this clear. Tuco's henchmen who died from the cars was killed while hiding the body. He was trying to put te body under the cars and the stack shifted pinning his arm in and eventually leading to his death. That's why when they move him it rips his arm off. It's still pinned in the car.

When the show was airing, we had to wait a week every week to see what was going to happen. They foreshadowed the car stack potentially coming down when he put the body under the cars, because they shifted slightly. @insiddious Жыл бұрын
BEing slow paced actually means that the intense moments and buildups have more impact, as you're often caught wrong-footed and anxious as to what happens next.
@jonnefcb98 Жыл бұрын
@@insiddious This is my exact feeling as well. I love the pacing of BrBa. Some people complain about slow family scenes/episodes but they fail to realise that the bigger moments wouldn’t be nearly as hard hitting and emotional if we didn’t spend so much time with the family. BrBa does it so well to the point where some scenes really feel like it’s your own family experiencing real tragedy. A lot of shows with more action make you desensitized to it and it doesn’t feel as real or impactful.
@sebaynovuelve Жыл бұрын
That's what happens when people build tv shows up, people comment all the time "can't wait for this episode to happen" or stuff like that, and that only generates really high expectations for every episode and when they don't reach those expectations they end up disappointed or not liking the show. Reactions have ruined incredible tv shows for a lot of people just because fans can't help themselves to overhype everything
@TTM9691 Жыл бұрын
They will be fine. What they need is less people telling them what to expect, and also for those same people to understand that not everyone sees things the same way they do. What one person finds "slow" another one does not. In fact, sometimes the same person can watch the same exact thing and find it slow one viewing, and perfectly fine the next. I one time watched The Godfather - something I'd seen a hundred times - and the pacing felt totally off. Next time I watched it, it was back to normal. They're watching they show, they like it, they're hooked....nothing needs to be said.
@mrtveye6682 Жыл бұрын
BB has faster and slower phases in every season. I don't think any season is "slow", it's "just exactly right". They take as much time as they need to tell this great story, but they are never dragging. The story is constantly developing and continuing, some episodes are more about setting up stuff, developing the characters, some are more action-packed or feel "a lot is happening at once", but that only works because of the "preparation", it's the payoff of what was done before.

They don't have to like or respond to my comments, but when I see that they do that for others, it lets me know that they care about their audience. But you're right.
