Hi everyone, I put a tremendous amount of work into this video, and that includes a few things I cut for brevity. Those are listed below: • ">" is not technically just to denote where 1 move ends and another begins. ">" is for chains, and "," is for links, or returning to neutral and pressing a button. This is a bit high-concept for a beginner video, so I intentionally left it out. • 96 is highly preferred as a standard IAD input over 866, and technically 766 is an option as well. They give you different distances on dashes since you jump in different directions, but again, too much for this video. • I left out Tiger Knees / TK for time and complexity. A concept for another video. • I left out (whiff) on purpose, and c.S because I genuinely forgot. My bad ya'll. - If there's any other notation I left out, let me know and I'll be sure to highlight it or add it to the PDF. Thanks!

I feel like "dl" is pretty common as well, but I understand you'd be here all day if you put everything. Good video!

Your video structure is sick, straight to the point, very readable graphics and the timing of your editing cuts are spot on. Hopefully you'll keep doing yt content! One thing I'm interested in is hitbox notation, everytime I try to write down input shortcuts to explain it to someone, it's a mess. Hopefully the community comes to an agreement about it some day

🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐 The fgc needs to change all notation to this no more "hcb roundhouse" and "cr-ow-ching me-dium kick" just 2mk🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐

Amazing video that I'll definitely keep on hand for any new players Tho I want to point out that I see ~ a lot also for follow-ups, e.g. strive bridget 236k~k, if a move has multiple different followup options

Glad you enjoy, and thanks for supporting the channel! I learned a lot of video editing shortcuts during this, so hopefully the next one won't be as intense.

Nice, another entry barrier to the great fighting game community. Instead of keeping it simple with arrows and directional inputs.
